A friend of PEACHES GELDOF’s late mother PAULA YATES is terrified the roc k offspring is spiralling out of control, because she’s leading a "toxic lifestyle".
Yates died in 2000 from an accidental heroin overdose aged 40 and her c lose pal, Gerry Agar, fears Geldof is heading for a big downfall followin g the release of raunchy internet pictures which shows her looking intoxi cated.
And Agar is adamant Peaches’ dad Bob Geldof is furious with his 21-year -old daughter for leading a turbulent life, because it mirrors his former wife’s too much.
Agar says, "Things have been going disastrously wrong for Peaches for a while because she refuses to listen to the people who try to stop her. S he is surrounded by a group of toxic people who are addicted to her fame, and they will see this escapade as just another hiccup that they can glo ss over. They have a really tight grip on her and so she believes them wh en they say she is untouchable.
"I feel sorry for her because I think it’s tragic she has become so tra pped - it will be the downfall of her. She really has become like the rep lacement Paula… For me it is so frustrating because I am literally watc hing history repeat itself.
"I really hoped that when Peaches went to America she would break away form her toxic lifestyle but obviously that hasn’t happened. Despite his worldliness, underneath it all Bob can be very naive. I can remember vivi dly how terrified he was when I had to tell him that Paula was doing hero in and cocaine, all those years ago. So these stories about Peaches must be devastating for him."

It was a time when I couldn’t even answer the phone, yet I would go o ut every night to perform in the theatre and cheerfully sing the Lambeth Walk.
"To help myself, the only thing I could do was to write, but I had to c rawl to the computer. Writing Sense and Sensibility saved me form going u nder in a very nasty way."

"I spent 10 days fighting giant scorpions and I loved that because they were about the size of a house. We used animatronic scorpions, rather th an computer-created things on green screen, so you had a real idea of a h umongous claw - the size of a table - reaching out at you… It was crazy being dressed in these skimpy outfits because in the mornings it was min us 2C. Then, as the day went on, it would get up to 27C. So it started of f freezing cold and then it got scorching. But I could handle it." (KD/WN
