N-DUBZ STAR STOLE FROM BANDMATE’S FATHER
British hip-hop star RICHARD ‘FAZER’ RAWSON was once caught stealing from his N-DUBZ bandmate’s father.
The rapper formed the band with his childhood pal Dino ‘Dappy’ Contosta vlos, but admits their friendship was once rocked by his bad behaviour.
Rawson has revealed his friend’s parents were warned to keep their son away from his new pal when they first starting spending time together at the age of 12, and he fuelled their mistrust when he was caught swiping a cell phone from the family’s home.
He explains, "I remember the first day I went to Dappy’s house to meet his mum and dad. Byron (Dappy’s father) said to me, ‘I’ve been told not t o let my son hang around with you, but I won’t stop you. Don’t you get my son into no s**t, though.’ "Then I went and stole his phone. I saw the phone lying the side when h e left the room and I just pocketed it. He came in and was cursing, ‘Wher e’s my phone, you little s**t?’ He pulled another phone out of his pocket and dialled a number and his phone started ringing in my pocket." But Rawson was stunned when Contostavlos’ dad offered to give him the p hone, and admits he never behaved badly around the family again.
He adds, "He said, ‘If you can’t get your own then I will give it to yo u, if that’s the only way.’ I didn’t take it, but from then on I never to ok the p**s with him again."
