GAGA LANDS U.K. CHART DOUBLE
LADY GAGA has stormed the U.K. music charts - taking the number one spot in both the single and album rundowns.
The Poker Face hitmaker’s collaboration with Beyonce, Telephone, climbe d 11 places in the singles chart after the controversial nine-and-a-half minute video for the song was released earlier this month (11Mar10).
Meanwhile, Gaga’s album The Fame rose four places to land the top Briti sh album slot.
Elsewhere in the singles chart, Tinie Tempah’s Pass Out dropped to seco nd place, Rihanna took number three with Rude Boy, followed by Justin Bie ber with Baby and Ellie Goulding with Starry Eyed.
In the album chart, the Glee cast’s soundtrack took the number two slot , with Boyzone’s Brother at three. Gorillaz album Plastic Beach and Alici a Keys’ The Element Of Freedom rounded out the top five.
