JOHNNY DEPP was left feeling lonely on the set of fantasy film ALICE IN W= ONDERLAND - because director TIM BURTON forced him to act without his co-= stars to gain the full impact of special effects technology.
The Hollywood hunk is part of an all-star cast, including Anne Hathaway= , Michael Sheen and Helena Bonham Carter, in the upcoming Disney producti= on.
But because Burton required special effects to be added in post-product= ion, Depp found himself acting alone in front of a green screen for many = scenes.
The star admits he found the process exhausting - and left him utterly = confused.
He says, "The novelty of the green wears off very quickly. It’s exhaust= ing, actually. Former DESTINY’S CHILD singer MICHELLE WILLIAMS is feeling broody - she’s= confessed her desire to have children with a mystery suitor.
The 29 year old appeared on U.S. chat show Wendy Williams on Tuesday (1= 6Feb10) and was noticeably red-faced after admitting she’s fallen for a "= business man", whose name she declined to reveal.
She said, "I would love to get married and have children. Yeah, I could= (settle down with him)." But Williams insists on staying mum on her plans to start a family - be= cause talking about her private life makes her uncomfortable.

A celebrity photo tribute to famed artist KEITH HARING in Tokyo, Japan ha= s been thrown into jeopardy, after a dozen images vanished from a New Yor= k party last week.
Twenty four murals and photographs designed by Sex and the City stylist= Patricia Field and shot by fashion photographer Dah Len were put on disp= lay for the Keith Haring by House of Field exhibit at Manhattan’s Hudson = Hotel on Thursday night (11Feb10).
The images, which featured friends of the late artist, including DJ Mar= k Ronson and 1970s supermodel Pat Cleveland, mysteriously went missing.
And organisers are seeking an explanation from hotel bosses, as another= planned exhibit faces cancellation.
Event producer Sandra Shafer tells the New York Post, "They disappeared= between 2 and 2.30am. Some of the portraits and murals were over six fee= t wide, so we don’t know how somebody managed to get out with them unnoti= ced.
"We are totally shocked and devastated they have gone, as they were sup= posed to go on to a Keith Haring exhibition in Tokyo. We have asked the h= otel to explain to us how they could have gone missing. The problem is, t= here are no security cameras. We are hoping whoever took them will have a= change of heart and give them back." However, Hudson Hotel bosses are playing down the incident.
A hotel spokesperson says, "They are just photo prints, not original Ke= ith Haring works. Organisers were encouraging people to graffiti the wall= and write on the prints - it was a free space and people saw it as that.= I’m not sure if it was really a theft. Guests may have believed the pict= ures were there to be taken." Haring, who was known for his graffiti-inspired works, died of an AIDS-= related illness on 16 February 1990.

GOSSIP GIRL star MATTHEW SETTLE has sparked rumours his marriage is in tr= ouble after he was snapped out in New York without his wedding ring.
The actor, 40, wed model Naama Nativ in 2006 and the couple welcomed it= s first child together, daughter Aven, last March (09).
But Settle failed to wear his wedding ring during nights out in the Big= Apple on Thursday (11Feb10) and Friday (12Feb10), where he was attending= New York Fashion Week, and was also spotted with a mystery lady at Manha= ttan club SL on Saturday night (13Feb10).
And now UsMagazine.com claims Settle and Nativ have split for good and = are heading for divorce.

GWEN STEFANI would love to add a third child to her family with husband G= AVIN ROSSDALE - but she’s too busy to have another baby.

Former GUNS N’ ROSES guitarist SLASH is revamping the band’s hits for his= planned solo tour - because he trusts singer MYLES KENNEDY to cover AXL = ROSE’s original vocals.

British actor JAMES PUREFOY regrets employing a former Special Forces exp= ert to get him into shape for action movie SOLOMON KANE - because the per= sonal trainer made him exercise for 12 hours a day.
The Resident Evil star plays a 16th Century killer in the film and deci= ded he needed expert help prior to the shoot.
But Purefoy was left exhausted by the punishing exercise regime.
He tells British morning show GMTV, "I had a very brilliant Romanian ex= -Special Forces trainer. I made a terrible error - I said, ‘Why dont you = come and live with me in Prague (where we were shooting) for two months b= efore we start?’ And he said, ‘Yes, good idea.’ "That meant waking up (early), he kicked me out of bed at half five. We= ‘d do two hours in the gym, then we’d do four hours sword fighting, then = four hours stunt riding on horseback and we’d finish off with a two hour = gentle jog by the river.
"It is not what I got into acting for!"

One of the producers behind the X-MEN movies is set to resurrect FRANKEN= STEIN in a movie based on DEAN KOONTZ’s modern-day re-telling of MARY SHE= LLEY’s classic novel.
Ralph Winter, along with his producing partner Terry Botwick, has acqui= red the rights to Koontz’s Frankenstein trilogy, with plans to bring the = novelist’s books to the big screen.
The story focuses on a doctor in present-day New Orleans, Louisiana and= his super-human creation called Deucalion.
And the producers hope the first film will spawn a franchise based on t= he best-selling books, which will expand when a fourth installment hits s= tores this summer (10).
The producing duo tells Variety.com, "These books have enough twists an= d turns to keep the public coming back to the theatres for many years to = come."

SARAH SILVERMAN received a barrage of complaints about her speech at a te= chnology conference last week (ends14Feb10) - after her controversial rou= tine failed to impress organisers.
The comedienne was booked to appear at the TED (Technology, Entertainme= nt, Design) event in Long Beach, California, which ran from 9-13 February= (10).
But her keynote speech wasn’t well received after she made a comment ab= out children with special needs.
According to Britain’s Evening Standard newspaper, she allegedly told t= he crowd, "I want to adopt a special needs child because adopting a speci= al needs child, who would do that?
