A British music festival featuring CALVIN HARRIS has been scrapped due to= "unforeseen circumstances." The Scottish DJ was due to headline the Playaway Festival in Skegness, = England over the weekend of 16-18 April (10).
But the event, which was also set to include The Futureheads, New Young= Pony Club, Scouting For Girls and Alphabeat, has been cancelled.

Teen sensation JUSTIN BIEBER was forced to cut short an in-store appearan= ce in Paris, France on Monday (22Feb10) after thousands of fans descended= on the venue.

LINDSAY LOHAN’s dad MICHAEL has defended his decision to speak out about = the actress’ drug problems, insisting he has only turned to the press bec= ause he is desperately worried about the star.
Michael Lohan first opened up about his famous daughter in 2007 and has= since become well known for airing his grievances about their fractured = relationship in public.
The Mean Girls star entered rehab twice in 2007 and she recently claime= d her dad’s outspoken nature caused her drug-taking to spiral out of cont= rol.
In a candid interview with Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Lohan said, "Wh= en my father was going public, that’s when I hit rock bottom." But Michael has slammed the allegations, insisting his daughter’s wild = ways had become uncontrollable, forcing him to turn to the media as a las= t resort.
Lohan Sr. admits he’s pleased the star is finally coming to terms with = her drug problems but he is adamant she’s still hooked on prescription pi= lls.
He tells Hollyscoop.com, "In response to Lindsay’s interview with the S= un: While I’m very happy that Lindsay is beginning to come ‘clean,’ the t= ruth of the matter is I went public when she hit rock bottom. SHE DID NOT= GO ROCK BOTTOM WHEN I WENT PUBLIC…
"And while I find her admissions of her experiences with alcohol and co= caine to be noble, the REAL PROBLEM still exists with the prescription dr= ug use that the so-called ‘addiction specialist’, therapist and doctors a= re prescribing… to Lindsay." 50 CENT is to shock fans with a dramatic change to his muscular physique = - the rapper is losing a staggering 65 pounds (29.5 kilograms) for his fo= rthcoming movie THINGS FALL APART.

The creditor’s claims against MICHAEL JACKSON’s estate are continuing to = pile up - a U.S. law firm has become the latest company to file legal pap= ers for a portion of the late superstar’s fortune.
Bosses at the organisation, which has not been named, allege the late K= ing of Pop died owing them a sum of $628,718 (=C2=A3392,949), reports TMZ= ..com.
The claims against the tragic Thriller hitmaker’s estate now exceed $23= million (=C2=A314.4 million).
They include legal challenges from Jackson’s former accountant Diane Wi= lliams, his spiritual adviser Reverend June Juliet Gatlin, his former ski= n doctor Arnold Klein, choreographer LaVelle Smith Jr. and the pop supers= tar’s one-time manager and adviser Dr. Tohme Tohme.

WHITNEY HOUSTON has sparked fresh fears for her health after appearing at= a concert in Australia looking exhausted as she struggled through her se= t.
The singer, who kicked off her first world tour in a decade at the end = of last year (Dec09), became the subject of a National Enquirer report la= st week (ends19Feb10), alleging Houston has been in a fragile state.
Houston’s representative blasted the claims, insisting rumours she is b= attling a mystery illness are "ridiculous".
But the R&B superstar’s troubled performance at the Brisbane Entertainm= ent Centre on Monday (22Feb10) has done little to dampen the claims - aft= er appearing to be out of breath moments into the gig, the first on the A= ustralian leg of her Nothing But Love tour.
Local reports state Houston only sang two songs before she was forced t= o take a break.
She resumed the concert and sang six more songs, reportedly coughing th= rough the tracks, before leaving the stage and calling on her brother Gar= y to take over the microphone and sing.
When Houston reappeared onstage, she sat through some acoustic versions= of her hits and ended the show with a below-par performance of her class= ic hit I Will Always Love You, pausing midway through the song to take si= ps of water.
One disappointed concert-goer tells the Courier-Mail, "She was not fit = to perform. She seemed to be on another planet, and the concert was laugh= able. BRUCE WILLIS is planning to reteam with horror director M. NIGHT SHYAMALA= N and make a sequel to 2000 thriller UNBREAKABLE.
Willis plays a man who discovers he has superpowers in the film, his se= cond collaboration with Shyamalan after 1999’s Sixth Sense.
Ten years on, the actor reveals Unbreakable was originally written as t= he first film of a trilogy - and he and the director are considering maki= ng part two their next project.
Willis tells WENN, "I’ve been talking to Night Shyamalan about going ba= ck to do the middle story to Unbreakable. That whole story was written in= three parts and he just chose to shoot the origin story first where the = two characters find out they have superpowers. Actor DOMINIC MONAGHAN’s night out came to an abrupt end on Sunday (21Feb= 10) after he was thrown out of a Los Angeles club for allegedly making "= inappropriate gestures" towards female partygoers.

Actor KIRK CAMERON is urging his former GROWING PAINS co-star ANDREW KOEN= IG to come forward and get in touch after he was reported missing to poli= ce.
The American actor was last seen in Vancouver, Canada on 14 February (1= 0). He missed a flight out of the city to return to his home in Los Angel= es on 16 February (10) and his friend, burlesque artist Jenny Magenta, re= ported him as a missing person last week (ends19Feb10) after failing to c= ontact the star.
