British singer LILY ALLEN is quitting music to concentrate on starting a = family - insisting children don’t fit into a pop star’s lifestyle.
Last September (09) the Smile hitmaker announced she will be taking a b= reak from music for the forseeable future so she can work on other ventur= es, including launching her own fashion store and record label.

Speaking on British TV show Live From Studio Five, she says, "I’m just = not making another album because it’s a really big commitment to do an al= bum these days, because people don’t buy music anymore… they download t= hem and want the content for free. The thing that makes you your money is= touring and I don’t really want to tie myself down to being on the road = for three years.
"I’ve got a boyfriend and I’ve got a house and I’d quite like to have c= hildren soon, so it doesn’t really work into those plans. It’s not retiri= ng, I’m just doing a different job for a bit, you know, I’m having a care= er change for a while. I’m concentrating on something else, I’m setting u= p a business with my sister and you know, I’m also running a record label= , I just want to stay in London for a while. It’s not a particularly heal= thy lifestyle being on the road." When the singer was asked if she is planning to have babies she replied= : "I mean not right now, but soon I hope."
