ADKINS LANDS AWARD FOR CHARITY WORK
Country singer TRACE ADKINS was honoured for his humanitarian work at a c= eremony in Nashville, Tennessee on Wednesday (24Feb10).
The Chrome singer has performed for U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan= and is an active supporter of several good causes, including the Wounded= Warrior Project.
And his tireless charity work was recognised at the Country Radio Semin= ar bash, when officials at the Country Radio Broadcasters organisation na= med him the artist humanitarian of the year.
Adkins told the audience, "What an honour. I do what I can. It’s minusc= ule, it seems. We just try to help out when we see needs. I’m not deservi= ng of this. Thank you very much."
