COLDPLAY BOOST SECURITY OVER ALBUM LEAK FEARS
British rockers COLDPLAY are determined to keep their new album under wra= ps until its release date - they’ve set up strict security procedures to = make sure it doesn’t leak.
The Clocks hitmakers are currently working on their fifth record at the= ir own studio in north London, and they have encrypted computer files con= taining their new tracks to keep the songs secret.
Frontman Chris Martin tells NME.com, "There’s only two people in the wh= ole building who know how to open all the recording files. Even we (the b= and) don’t know how to do it. We couldn’t even steal our own music at the= moment. You would have to be a computer genius and a great burglar to ge= t into the building, and download it, and mix it." And the singer hopes the new album will be ready by the end of 2010, ad= ding: "Hopefully (it will be released) this Christmas."
