MCKAGAN PLANNING MEMOIR
Former GUNS N’ ROSES bassist DUFF MCKAGAN is expanding his writing portfo= lio - he’s in talks to document his rock ‘n’ roll career in a forthcoming= memoir.
The rocker-turned-journalist currently writes a regular music column on= SeattleWeekly.com and a financial section for Playboy.com called Duffono= mics.
And now he will put pen to paper to expose the adventures of his life o= n the road - according to his wife, model and swimwear designer, Susan Ho= lmes.
Holmes logged on to Twitter.com on Friday (19Feb10), revealing McKagan = had travelled to New York regarding the U.S. release of his book. She wro= te: "Duff’s back from NYC - he met and was wooed (by) 13 of the best book= publishers - this is 4 (for) the release of his book in the US markets o= nly - UK next." The bassist formed Duff McKagan’s Loaded in 2000 after parting ways wit= h Axl Rose’s band. In 2002, he re-teamed with his former Guns N’ Roses ba= ndmate Slash to create Velvet Revolver.
