FARRELL AND STREEP WIN AT IFTAS
COLIN FARRELL and MERYL STREEP were among the winners at the Irish Film a= nd Television Awards (IFTA) in Dublin on Saturday night (20Feb10).
The Phone Booth star picked up the prize for Best Film Actor in a Lead = Role for his part in Neil Jordan’s Ondine, while his co-star in the film,= Dervla Kirwan, was named Best Film Actress in a Supporting Role.
Meryl Streep received the trophy for Best International Actress for her= outing in It’s Complicated.
Other winners on the night included Saoirse Ronan, who was named Best F= ilm Actress in a Lead Role for The Lovely Bones, The Eclipse won Best Fil= m and its star Aidan Quinn was handed the award for Best Film Actor in a = Supporting Role.
