MANIC STREET PREACHERS rocker NICKY WIRE has fuelled a war of words with = RADIOHEAD’s ED O’BRIEN - he launched a furious tirade against the guitari= st during a gig on Thursday (18Feb10).
The bass player was seething after O’Brien branded him a "w**ker" for a= ccusing the Paranoid Android hitmakers of taking a stand against illegal = downloaders only after they had made their fortune in the music industry.
Wire hit back at the Radiohead star during a show in Glasgow, Scotland = on Thursday - branding O’Brien a "c**t" and mocking his education at an u= pmarket school.
