MCCARTNEY WILL FIGHT FOX HUNTING RETURN
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has vowed to fight a proposed vote to decide whether a= ban against fox hunting in the U.K. should be lifted.
The animal rights activist has been left disgusted after politician Dav= id Cameron - who is vying to become Britain’s Prime Minister in the May (= 10) elections - said he would let Members of Parliament decide whether th= e ban should be overturned.
Hunting foxes - a popular sport in U.K. countryside communities - was o= utlawed in 2004.
And McCartney has called for fellow animal protection advocates to stan= d against the proposal - as the sport is "cruel and unnecessary".
He says, "I, along with the majority of the British public, backed this= historic victory for wildlife."
