WANG JETS TO WINTER GAMES TO CHEER ON SKATER
Designer VERA WANG has turned her back on New York Fashion Week to cheer = on U.S. figure skater EVAN LYSACEK at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Wang jetted off to Canada on Tuesday (16Feb10) to catch Lysacek on ice.
A former figure skater herself, Wang has created the winter sports star= ’s wardrobe for the Olympics.
It’s not the first she has designed outfits for competing skaters - she= previously crafted dresses for Nancy Kerrigan and Michelle Kwan - but it= ’s the first time she has styled an ice man.
Lysacek goes for gold on Thursday (18Feb10).
