HOLLOWAY: ‘I DON’T WANT TO BE HANDED NEW JOBS’
JOSH HOLLOWAY is looking forward to returning to the audition room when L= OST concludes this year (10) - because he wants to prove himself before l= anding new roles.
The hunk - who plays badboy Sawyer in the hit show - is facing life wit= hout a job at the end of the sixth season after bosses on the series admi= tted they have "run out of ideas" for the outlandish plotlines.
But Holloway wants to get back on the audition trail - to prove he can = rely on his talent rather than previous successes.
He tells People.com, "It’ll be back to the audition room, and I’m game.= I don’t want straight offers - I want to read for things. I want to prov= e to myself and to that town that I can go forward. I don’t want anything= given to me." And the star insists that becoming a dad to daughter Java last year (09= ) has made him even more determined to do well.
