TOMLIN TO PRODUCE OFF-BROADWAY SHOW
Veteran actress LILY TOMLIN is following in the footsteps of SIR ELTON JO= HN and JAY-Z by producing a New York stage show.
The Desperate Housewives star is teaming up with her longterm partner J= ane Wagner to bring one-man production My Trip Down The Pink Carpet to th= e off-Broadway stage. The show was written by Will & Grace’s Leslie Jorda= n.
Tomlin joins a host of stars lending their names to productions - Sir E= lton John and his partner David Furnish are currently involved in Broadwa= y’s Next Fall, while Jay-Z has collaborated with Will Smith and Jada Pink= ett Smith to co-produce musical show Fela! My Trip Down The Pink Carpet is due to open at the Midtown Theater on 1= 9 April (10) for a 12-week stint.
