PORIZKOVA TAKES AIM AT VOGUE BOSS
Supermodel-turned-reality TV personality PAULINA PORIZKOVA has taken aim = at U.S. Vogue boss ANNA WINTOUR - after the fashion icon snubbed her at a= star-studded gala.
The beauty, a former judge on Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model, bum= ped into Wintour at the AmFAR benefit in New York on Wednesday night (10F= eb10), but was stunned when the editor-in-chief failed to recognise her d= espite their Vogue cover collaborations.
And Porizkova has taken to her Huffington Post blog to lash out at the = fashion boss.
She writes: "I walked in (the bathroom) and almost straight into Anna W= intour. ‘Hi, Anna,’ I said brightly to Anna’s mirror reflection. Her larg= e eyes in her large head flickered. And with the slightest nod, one that = may have been a twitch, she left me standing at the sinks.
"I admit I felt a bit more than slighted, I was after all, on quite a f= ew covers of her magazine, and the glance she gave me is one I’d give to = an expired carton of milk. I am aware my expiration date (as a model) is = long past, but a slight acknowledgement that I wasn’t the bathroom attend= ant would have been nice."
