BEYONCE’S DAD PAYS MEDICAL COSTS OF ALLEGED LOVECHILD
BEYONCE’s manager father MATHEW KNOWLES has handed over $10,000 (=C2=A36,= 250) to the woman who alleges her newborn son is his lovechild - to help = cover her hospital costs.
Knowles was named the father of the child in legal papers Alexsandra Wr= ight filed in Los Angeles in October (09).
She alleges baby Nixon, who was born earlier this month (04Feb10), was = conceived during an 18-month fling she had with Knowles, while he was sti= ll married to Beyonce’s stylist mum, Tina. They have since separated.
Mathew Knowles has promised to undergo a DNA test to determine paternit= y of the baby, and his lawyer, Lance Spiegel, and Neal Hersh, Wright’s le= gal representative, appeared in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday morning (1= 6Feb10) to negotiate child support should the music mogul prove to be the= father.
Spiegel told the court his client had already paid thousands of dollars= to Wright to contribute to medical costs.
The lawyers are reportedly looking to settle child support at around $2= 0,000 (=C2=A312,500)-a-month, according to TMZ.com.
The DNA test will be performed on 1 March (10).
