WILLIAMS PRAISES OASIS ALBUM
ROBBIE WILLIAMS has put his longstanding rivalry with OASIS behind him - = he’s named the band’s (WHAT’S THE STORY) MORNING GLORY? record his favour= ite album of the last 30 years.
The Angels hitmaker enjoyed a short-lived friendship with the Gallagher= brothers in the 1990s, but they later fell out and became embroiled in a= public feud, with guitarist Noel branding him "the fat dancer from Take = That".
But Williams insists he is still a fan of Oasis - and names the 1995 re= cord, which is nominated for the Best Album of the last 30 Years prize at= Tuesday night’s (16Feb10) Brit Awards, as one of his favourites of recen= t times.
He tells Britain’s The Sun, "Of the potential winners Oasis definitely = deserve it. It’s been my favourite album of the last 30 years. You can’t = argue with how fantastic that album is, and if it wins it deserves it.
"We’ve all grown up a bit so there won’t be any trouble."
