DOHERTY’S MANAGER PLEADS GUILTY IN CRASH CASE
PETE DOHERTY’s manager has pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous drivin= g following a car crash last September (09) which left a man fighting for= his life.
Andrew Boyd was accused of running down 42-year-old Chris Corder in Suf= folk, England and driving away without stopping.
Corder has been in a coma since the accident and is still being treated= at the Royal London Hospital.
Babyshambles boss Boyd admitted the offence at a hearing at Ipswich Cro= wn Court on Friday (29Jan10). He also pleaded guilty to four other charge= s including failing to stop at an accident scene.
Judge David Goodin told Boyd he is facing a stretch behind bars: "The o= ffences you pleaded guilty to are serious ones. It may very well be that = custody is the only sentence for you." Boyd has been bailed and is due to be sentenced on 24 February (10). (L=
