R. KELLY’S PEOPLE FILE CREDITOR’S CLAIM AGAINST JACKSON’S ESTATE
MICHAEL JACKSON’s estate has been hit with another creditor’s claim - fro= m publishers representing R&B star R. KELLY.
The I Believe I Can Fly hitmaker’s song Ignition was used by the late K= ing of Pop during 2003 TV show Michael Jackson’s Private Home Movies - an= d R. Kelly’s management alleges he was never paid for the track.
Executives at Universal Music Publishing Group, which owns the rights t= o the 2002 record, are requesting Jackson’s estate pay $3,000 (=C2=A31,87= 5), reports TMZ.com.
The company attached a contract to the creditor’s claim to show the rep= orted fee.
Other creditors’ claims against the Thriller hitmaker’s estate have rep= ortedly exceeded $20 million (=C2=A312.5 million).
