KERRIGAN TO BE EVALUATED FOR MENTAL HEALTH PROBLEMS
Former Olympic figure skater NANCY KERRIGAN’s brother has been ordered to= undergo a mental health examination - amid allegations he assaulted his = father moments before the 70 year old dropped dead on Sunday (24Jan10).
Mark Kerrigan will undergo testing at the Bridgewater State Hospital, a= spokesperson for Middlesex District Attorney in Massachusetts tells Rada= rOnline.com.
He was arrested after Daniel Kerrigan was found unconscious in the kitc= hen of the family’s home in Stoneham, Massachusetts on Sunday (24Jan10).
The 45 year old, who previously served in the U.S. Army, pleaded not gu= ilty on Monday (25Jan10) to charges of assault and battery with a dangero= us weapon on an elderly person and causing serious bodily injury.
His lawyer said in court her client was undergoing therapy and taking p= rescription medication for post-traumatic stress.
