Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 1:42 pm

British rapper DIZZEE RASCAL caused a storm at a music festival in Austra= lia by launching an expletive-laden rant at a journalist during an interv= iew.
The star was performing at the Big Day Out concert in Sydney on Friday = (22Jan10) and took part in a series of interviews with local press at the= event.
But the Bonkers hitmaker cut one interview short after he took offence = at the line of questioning, and shocked the female reporter by swearing a= t her profusely and later allegedly demanding she delete the footage of t= he incident.
News.com.au reporter Alison Stephenson asked the star whether he had ev= er fallen over on stage and he replied: "What the f**k do you want from m= e man, I’ve already said I done it. Yeah I stacked it, b**ch. F**k!" Stephenson claims she was later contacted by the rapper’s representativ= es who asked her to delete footage of the bust-up.
She says, "I wasn=E2=80=99t expecting an apology and didn=E2=80=99t rec= eive one. It just comes with the territory. A publicist came running up t= o me declaring I had to go back to the media area immediately and my Dizz= ee Rascal interview had to be deleted. It was about 3.30pm and Dizzee had= a whole afternoon of interviews booked in. He was refusing to do any oth= er press that day until I agreed to delete it, including a radio station = whose team was going into chaos. They were due to go live with the rapper= but he was sitting in his trailer waiting for me to comply.
"I was escorted to Dizzee’s trailer so his U.K. manager and publicist c= ould emerge, watch me sign the document and agree to =E2=80=98just forget= about it and move on.’ All I was told was: =E2=80=98Dizzee wasn’t happy = with it=E2=80=99.=E2=80=9D
