JACKSON ESTATE HIT WITH ANOTHER CREDITOR CLAIM
MICHAEL JACKSON’s estate has been hit by yet another creditor’s claim - f= rom an entertainment company allegedly hired to develop the singer’s vari= ous ventures.
Bosses at Machine Management allege they are owed $285,000 (=C2=A3178,1= 25) after they helped the late King of Pop create his own film company.
They also claim to have worked on setting up an environmental campaign = for the star, the Michael Jackson Global Warning Awareness Initiative, as= well as a film festival in Oman, according to TMZ.com.
Lawyer for Jackson’s estate, Howard Weitzman, has told the website he i= s aware of the claim and will be looking into it.
Other creditors’ claims against the Thriller hitmaker’s estate have rep= ortedly exceeded $20 million (=C2=A312.5 million), they include various l= egal challenges from Jackson’s spiritual adviser Reverend June Juliet Gat= lin, his former skin doctor Arnold Klein, choreographer LaVelle Smith Jr.= and the pop superstar’s one-time manager and adviser Dr. Tohme Tohme.
