Actor-turned-rapper JOAQUIN PHOENIX has resurfaced after months in the sh= owbiz wilderness, stunning fans with a new clean-shaven look on the set o= f a new charity ad.
The Walk The Line Oscar nominee quit Hollywood last year (09) to embark= on a new career as a rapper, and was last seen sporting a scraggly beard= during a series of bizarre TV and public appearances.
But the beard was gone on Thursday night (21Jan10), when Phoenix joined= ex-girlfriend Liv Tyler to tape a promotional ad for To Write Love on He= r Arms.
The non-profit movement is dedicated to presenting hope and finding hel= p for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suici= de.
