JACOBS HONOURED IN FRANCE
American fashion designer MARC JACOBS has been honoured in France for his= contribution to the fashion industry.
Jacobs, the creative director of French luxury label Louis Vuitton, wil= l be named a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Ar= ts and Letters) at a ceremony in Paris on Friday (22Jan10).
The award coincides with Paris Fashion Week which started in the French= capital on Thursday (21Jan10).
