Rapper 50 CENT has lashed out at JAY-Z’s comments insisting the IN DA CLUB hitmaker is not a person to be scared of.
The 99 Problems superstar was quizzed over his thoughts on Kanye West’s notorious stage storming at the MTV Video Music Awards in September (09), when he interrupted Taylor Swift’s Best Female Video acceptance speech to make it clear he believed Beyonce was the real winner of the prize.
In the interview with BBC DJ Trevor Nelson, he was asked whether he thought West would have acted the same way if the award’s recipient was toughguy rapper 50 Cent.
Jay-Z angrily answered: "I think he (West) would have done that if that was 50 Cent. No one is scared of 50 Cent. I want everyone to be clear. No one is scared of 50 Cent." And 50 Cent is fuming Jay-Z seemingly thinks so little of him - insisting none of his contemporaries would have dared poke fun at him when he was accepting an award.
He explains, "When he (Jay-Z) has to say no one is scared of 50 Cent, it�s because the public is responding to his punk presentation. Kanye wouldn�t take the trophy from me and neither would Jay-Z."

America’s TV titan OPRAH WINFREY and U.S. First Lady MICHELLE OBAMA have joined forces to help Chicago, Illinois land the Olympics in 2016.
The powerful pair jetted to Copenhagen, Denmark on Wednesday (30Sep09) where the International Olympic Committee was meeting to listen to different cities’ bids to host the sporting event after London in 2012.
And Chicago received a boost by gaining the backing of two of America’s most influential women.
Obama, a Chicago native, says in a statement, "So happy to be here and I’m so excited. We have a lot of work to do. We’re not taking anything for granted. I’m going to talk to some voters.
"Chicago is a wonderful host city, great people, great facilities. It knows about the sports and the hospitality is like no other and (it’s) a city that works really well." The decision will be made on Friday (02Oct09).

JESSICA ALBA is preparing to meet the Fockers - she is in talks to star in the third installment of BEN STILLER’s hit family comedy franchise.
The film would once again star Stiller, as well as Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, Barbra Streisand and Owen Wilson.
Stiller, along with co-stars Wilson and De Niro, has signed on to make upcoming comedy Little Fockers, a third film in the Meet The Parents series, which has pulled in more than $800 million (£555 million) worldwide.
And Alba is said to be keen to join the stellar cast.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Alba will play a pharmaceutical rep who casts a spell over the male cast members.
John Hamburg, who wrote the first two movies in the series, is penning the script. Filming is scheduled to start later this year (09).

HEIDI KLUM turned her pregnancy craving for chocolate syrup into a sexy photo opportunity when she asked longtime photographer pal RANKIN to snap her naked and covered in brown goo.
The German stunner and Rankin have been working on a photo book for years and now fans will be able to get their hands on all the unseen shots in new book Heidilicious.
And one stunning photo features a pregnant Klum covered with chocolate.
She says, "We were doing our normal shoot and afterwards he said, ‘Let’s do some pictures… for the book.’ I said, ‘I would love to be covered in chocolate.’ "So someone ran out to the drugstore and got, like, I think, seven or eight of those squirty chocolate things and they just squirted it all over me and he took the photo. It was yummy… especially when you’re pregnant." And the hungry mum-to-be, who is expecting a baby girl in the next few days, insists she had no problems washing the syrup off: "I licked half of it up."

Defunct Irish girlband B*WITCHED is hoping for a second shot at pop stardom - the former foursome is reuniting as a trio.
The C’est La Vie hitmakers were huge stars across Europe during their time together from 1998 until 2002, notching up four number one singles and two top five albums in the U.K.
And the band is aiming to try and reignite its former success as they embark on a series of reunion shows in 2010.
However, only three of the original bandmembers will return - sisters Edele and Keavy Lynch and Lindsay Armaou.
Fellow former singer Sinead O’Carroll is sticking with her job as a TV presenter in her native Ireland.
On its Twitter.com blog, the band writes, "We were told to come on twitter to announce it, word of mouth and all that, but B*Witched are reforming for 2010 as a 3-piece.
"Sinead is not rejoining, not because of drama because she is happy where she is now in presenting and we’re right behind her!"

British folk rockers NOAH AND THE WHALE are calling on fans to help track down equipment stolen following their gigs in Manchester, England.
The Five Years Time group awoke on Wednesday (30Sep09) to find that thieves had made off with a trailer containing all their instruments from a hotel car park.
Every piece of equipment the band used on the road was stolen, and the rockers are asking followers to keep on the lookout for any of the items on auction websites eBay and Gumtree.
And frontman Charlie Fink is fuming that people could be so mean-spirited, especially as they have been trying to fulfil their touring duties on a budget.
He tells NME.com, "The thing is, we’ve been doing this tour… it’s been f**king hard, because we’ve been doing it on the cheap, lifting our own gear and carrying everything ourselves. And this just feels so unbelievably unfair. But we’ve just got to get on with it now." The quartet insists it will carry on with the rest of the U.K. trek.

FRANK SINATRA was buried with a bottle of bourbon, a pack of cigarettes, a lighter and a roll of dimes so he could call his loved ones from beyond the grave, according to a new book.
The singer’s casket was filled with items his family members felt sure Ol’ Blue Eyes would like to take with him and Alan W. Petrucelli’s new tome, Morbid Curiosity, The Disturbing Demises of the Famous and Infamous, lists them.
According to the author, Sinatra’s coffin was also filled with Tootsie Rolls, his favourite candy, a dog biscuit, so he could feed the dogs in heaven, and a roll of cherry Life Savers.
Sinatra died of a heart attack in 1998 and was buried at Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral City, California.

MILEY CYRUS’ U.S. tour is already becoming a pain in the neck - the teen sensation has been struck down with a sore throat.
After just two weeks on the road with her Wonder World Tour, the Hannah Montana star is struggling with her vocal cords.
The problems got so bad in Salt Lake City, Utah on Tuesday night (29Sep09), that Cyrus was forced to flee backstage during one of her performances to receive urgent medical attention. She returned to the stage after a 15-minute break.
And the star found the perfect way to try and relax in preparation for her next gig - she was fussed over by her father, Billy Ray Cyrus.
On her Twitter.com page, she wrote, "Woke up with a sore throat. Why am I always sick? "These are the times that my daddy REALLY comes in handy. He made me smile through the worst pain I’ve ever felt."

PUSSYCAT DOLLS star KIMBERLY WYATT has hinted the band’s relations with frontwoman NICOLE SCHERZINGER are troubled - she sees the singer as a "business associate" instead of a pal.
Rumours circulated over the summer (09) suggesting the band was being torn apart by infighting and discontent among the bandmates, and that the lesser-known members were jealous of Scherzinger’s leading role in the group.
The band confirmed it is on hiatus earlier this month (Sep09), but insisted it is a "much-needed" break rather than a split.
But Wyatt reignited speculation that the band can no longer work with Scherzinger, insisting she believes the group could easily work without its leading star.
She tells Britain’s Daily Star newspaper, "I get on with most of the band but not everyone. Look, at the end of the day it’s a job - we all have our own lives to lead and our own projects going on.
"I think of Nicole as a business associate, not as a friend. You cannot simply group girls together and just expect them to get on, can you? Life doesn’t work like that." "If Nicole left tomorrow, we could still carry on. I can see this band going forever."

LA TOYA and JERMAINE JACKSON took to the stage at the Music Of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards on Wednesday (30Sep09) to pay tribute to their late brother MICHAEL.
The pair was invited to honour the tragic King of Pop at the ceremony in Glasgow, Scotland, with Jermaine performing in memory of the Thriller icon.
Following his act, Jermaine told the star-studded crowd, "My brother was everything to me
. He was a wonderful artist and a wonderful human being.
"I’m here to do what I can, it is part of our responsibility as a family to continue his legacy and keep it alive." The event, which celebrates the U.K.’s urban music scene, was a big night for British pop trio N-Dubz and former The X Factor stars JLS, who both walked away with two of the biggest prizes.
The show was hosted by singer Keri Hilson, who also proved successful herself, winning the Best R&B award.
Beyonce took home the prizes for Best International Act and Best Video for her Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) promo, but didn’t attend the show to collect her awards.

Bosses at a prestigious U.K. art gallery have reportedly removed a naked photo of a ten-year-old BROOKE SHIELDS from a controversial exhibition, after children’s campaigners slammed the decision to include it.
The Tate Modern in London planned to use a nude snapshot of the actress posing in a bathtub when she was merely a child as part of its Pop Life: Art In A Material World show.
Exhibition organisers separated the image from the other works, giving it its own room and warning the public that some visitors could find the image "challenging".
The planned exhibit caused a storm of controversy from U.K. children’s charities, who insisted the photograph would be "a magnet for paedophiles".
Michele Elliott, founder of Kidscape, said, "Brooke Shields was 10 years old when this picture was taken. She could not have given informed consent to it being used. It must be bordering on child pornography. It is certainly not art." Now, Tate Modern management has decided to leave the image out of the exhibition, following a visit from Scotland Yard’s Obscene Publications Unit, according to reports.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman says, "The officers have specialist experience in this field and are keen to work with gallery management to ensure that they do not inadvertently break the law or cause any offence to their visitors." Meanwhile, a Tate representative confirms the exhibition has been "temporarily closed down".

C. THOMAS HOWELL was left stunned when he received mail from pal PATRICK SWAYZE - because it arrived days after the DIRTY DANCING star had lost his battle with cancer.
The actor, who befriended Swayze on the set of their 1983 movie The Outsiders and went on to work with him in other films, had previously asked the Ghost star to autograph a poster from the Francis Ford Coppola classic for his 12-year-old son Dash.
The request went without a response from Swayze, who was busy undergoing treatment for pancreatic cancer, for months - but now it seems it was one of the last things Swayze did before he passed.
A pal of Howell’s says, "Many months ago, Tommy asked Patrick to sign an Outsiders poster for his son. But it was so long ago he’d forgotten." But the late star proved he hadn’t forgotten about his pal - and packaged a signed poster for Howell’s kid days before he passed away on 14 September (09), reports the National Enquirer.
And the heartfelt gift moved Howell to tears as he struggled to come to terms with Swayze’s death.
The source adds, "Tommy was truly touched. He told me, ‘I’ve always had a special place in my heart for Patrick. He was like an older brother to me. He was a really great guy.
"Now, every time Tommy and his son look at that poster, they know that Patrick was thinking about them toward the end."

PATRICK SWAYZE tried to keep the news of his cancer diagnosis from his mother so she could undergo eye surgery without any complications.
The late actor revealed all about his cancer battle in a memoir and audio book, The Time of My Life, in the months leading up to his death on 14 September (09).
And in one moving excerpt, he reveals he and brother Don decided not to tell their mum he was dying, so his fight wouldn’t interfere with her own medical issues.
The actor explains, "She was having eye surgery the next day and was supposed to try to keep her eyes dry, no crying for a few weeks after the surgery." But his plan to keep the bad news from his mother was ruined by tabloid journalists, who approached his mum for a comment on her son’s diagnosis.
He adds, "Unfortunately, those morally bankrupt souls at the National Enquirer had other ideas… Someone in the medical field tipped them off and a National Enquirer reporter showed up at my mom’s house about a week after my diagnosis.
"She opened the door to have a complete stranger ask, ‘How do you feel about Patrick having pancreatic cancer?’ And that’s how she found out."

MICHAEL JACKSON’s Neverland amusement rides have become a hit on California’s county fair circuit.
Three attractions, the Spider, the Wave Swinger and the Zipper, have been auctioned off and have started appearing at carnivals.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Jackson acquired 18 rides for his ranch home in Santa Barbara County. Many of these were snapped up by fairground firms in 2008, when they hit the auction block.
Organisers of the California State Fair in Sacramento cashed in on the sudden surge of interest in all things Jackson, following the King of Pop’s death, by hiring impersonators to promote the rides and playing the pop superstar’s hits.
