HARRY POTTER star EMMA WATSON was left "quite shaken" after students from rival U.S. university Harvard stalked her during a recent football match.
The actress, who attends Brown University, Rhode Island, was at a game between the two schools on Saturday (26Sep09), but security guards had to surround her to protect her from harassment.
Harvard’s student magazine The Voice targeted Watson and posted a blog on its website stating supporters would try to draw as much attention to her as possible.
The post reads, "We will be Live-Tweetin� the game and possibly stalking Emma Watson, so keep your eyes peeled for that, too!� During the match, students from the Harvard Voice wrote a series of posts on Twitter.com, including: "In enemy territory. Lookin for a certain witch,� and, �WATSON FOUND. I repeat WATSON FOUND.� The magazine also posted a photo of the star and branded the stalking campaign a "success", according to New York gossip column PageSix.
But after a series of complaints, the editor of The Voice attached a note to the picture saying, "There seems to be much ado about nothing over this photo and liveblog. Understand that these live tweets were made to be intentionally outrageous and overblown.â�� There was no comment from Watson’s representative as WENN went to press. A spokesperson from Brown said, "This isnâ��t the sort of thing we comment on.â��

MICHAEL JACKSON’s daughter PARIS is blaming her father’s death on the amount of pressure he was under for his comeback concerts.
The King of Pop died from a cardiac arrest in June (09), weeks before he was due to begin his 50-date This Is It residency at London’s O2 Arena.
He initially planned just ten shows, but he was reportedly furious when promoters added more - and his 11-year-old daughter insists it put an unbearable strain on him.
Jackson’s sister La Toya reveals Paris confided to her, "The cardiologist was the best, so how could this happen? What happened is they worked him too hard. He never got the chance to rest. It was non-stop work. She said, ‘No, you don’t understand. They kept working him and Daddy didn’t want that, but they worked him constantly’. I felt so bad."

MADONNA shunned her healthy lifestyle for one night during an appearance on U.S. TV on Wednesday (30Sep09), indulging in a pizza and a cocktail.
The Material Girl has long stuck to a strict macrobiotic diet and a punishing exercise regime, but decided to put aside her routine for a greasy meal while appearing on the Late Show with David Letterman.
After the host revealed Madonna had never eaten pizza in New York, he convinced her to head out of the studio to a neighbouring Italian restaurant to sample a slice.
Walking past a huge crowd of adoring fans, the pair headed to the pizzeria and was served by the staff as Madonna laughed, "This is very funny! Are we gonna really eat it? I wanna try it. Shall we start?"

WHITNEY HOUSTON credits her daughter with pulling her through her darkest days - and insists she would kill to protect her only child.
The singing superstar has made a triumphant return to the charts with I Turn To You, her first studio release in seven years.
Houston faded away from the music industry after becoming heavily involved in drugs and faced the breakdown of her marriage to Bobby Brown.
In a recent interview with Oprah Winfrey, Houston revealed how her daughter Bobbi Kristina saw everything that went on in her debauched life.
Now, she praises her only daughter’s strength for pulling her through her toughest times - insisting she gave her the strength to face the world again.
Winfrey tells Pride magazine, "She’s smarter than I ever was, and she’s with me every step of the way, saying, ‘Mom, you can do this.’ When I’d get discouraged and say, ‘This is wearing me out,’ she’d just go, ‘No, mom, you can do this. Get up, get up.’ She encourages me and inspires me. When I look at her and look in her eyes, I see myself. I say, ‘Okay, I can do this.’" And the I Will Always Love You star explains that the fear of losing her child’s trust prompted her to her clean up her act - and admits she would do anything to make sure the 16 year old is never hurt.
She adds, "My worst fear was that I wouldn’t be here for her when she needs me. Or that she will trust somebody else - that scared the s**t out of me. I would kill for Krissi. I know because I’m living for her, so I’m fierce when it comes down to it. I’m just fiercely protective. Nobody messes with my lair."

KATE HUDSON has laughed off reports she is expecting a baby with baseball boyfriend ALEX RODRIGUEZ.

Aussie popstar KYLIE MINOGUE kicked off her first North American tour in flamboyant style on Wednesday night (30Sep09) - and branded the show’s debut in Oakland, California "unforgettable".
The superstar has never embarked on a Stateside trek before and has been in manic rehearsals for the past few weeks to perfect her performance.
And Minogue didn’t disappoint her U.S. fans - arriving onstage atop a gleaming silver skull before belting out all of her greatest hits, including Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Better The Devil You Know, for the screaming crowd.
The fashionista delighted fans with a number of outfits, including a glamorous gold gown and a futuristic shimmering leotard.
And their enthusiastic reaction overwhelmed the 41 year old, who took to her personal Twitter.com page shortly after the concert to thank her adoring fans.

Minogue will perform nine shows across the U.S. and Canada, visiting cities including Las Vegas and Los Angeles before wrapping up the tour in New York later this month (Oct09).

MADONNA is open to adding to her sizable brood - insisting she would "never say never" to more children.
The Holiday hitmaker is already mum to Lourdes, 12, Rocco, nine, David Banda, three, and her newly adopted daughter Mercy, also three.
The singer is in a steady relationship with model Jesus Luz, who she has been dating since meeting at a photoshoot for W magazine in December (08), and she admits she wouldn’t rule out having another child.

BILLY JOEL is to lay bare his biggest secrets in a new tell-all book - he is writing his autobiography.
The Piano Man has signed a $2.25 million (£1.5 million) deal with publishing giants HarperCollins for the tome, which is expected to include details of his turbulent life.
Joel has gone through a divorce to wife of five years, Katie Lee, and toured with Sir Elton John in the last year (08-09) alone.
He’s also dated a string of beautiful women, including a marriage to model Christie Brinkley and an alleged relationship with Elle Macpherson in the 1980s.
His first marriage was to his business manager, Elizabeth, with whom he had an affair while she was married to his then music partner, Jon Small.
The singer has also battled depression, spent time on suicide watch in hospital, and has undergone treatment for substance abuse.
A source tells Britain’s Daily Express, "Billy’s life could be a movie. His early days in the Bronx where he was teased because he played piano led him to take up boxing. He has battled with depression and left a suicide note which became the lyrics to Tomorrow Is Today. He has also been in rehab. Then there’s his love life. Former CANDIRIA rocker CHRIS PUMA has died.
The musician, one of the founding members of the New York band, passed away on 20 September (09). The cause of death has not yet been released.
In a statement, the group writes, "The cause is not known to us, as his family did not speak of it. He leaves behind two children - 3-year-old Aislinn A’marie and 4-month-old Aidan Todd. Chris was a great friend to the founding members of the band, and a respected musician among his friends and peers. He was a kind and gentle person and he will be missed." Puma played guitar for the band for five years from 1992 and helped create their unique sound which they still use today.

Music mogul ALAN MCGEE has launched a furious attack on the British government, insisting Prime Minister GORDON BROWN is unfit to rule the country.
The former Creation Records boss, who discovered Britpop legends Oasis in the early 1990s, has turned on the ruling Labour Party and called for it to be kicked out of office.
McGee was famously pictured alongside Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher when they were invited to a reception by the newly-elected Prime Minister Tony Blair in 1997.
But the lifelong Labour Party supporter has launched a stunning broadside against under-fire British leader Brown - branding him "terrible", an "idiot", and accusing him of letting down Britain.
Speaking to U.K. newspaper The Sun, McGee says: "I joined the party in 1994 when I still believed in Socialism. I thought we were going to change the world… I naively thought we were going to get a cross between (former British Prime Ministers) Jim Callaghan and Harold Wilson… Twelve years later we’ve just ended up with corporate politics. It’s time to get rid of these idiots.
"The Labour Party is unfit to govern and we need a change… Brown is an intellectual unable to make up his mind about anything. He looks terrible… Brown looks like he needs a three-year holiday in the Bahamas. The poor guy is in above his head. The kindliest thing we could do is vote him out now."

London insurance officials have hit back at TONI BRAXTON after she sued them over the cancellation of a string of shows.
The Unbreak My Heart singer was forced to pull the final gigs in her two-year Las Vegas residency at the Flamingo Hotel in August, 2008, after she was hospitalised for an ongoing heart problem.
Braxton, who has microvascular angina - a small vessel disease - sued Lloyd’s of London in April (09) for undisclosed damages, claiming she purchased insurance in the event of "non-appearance" or "cancellation".
But bosses refused to pay out on the policy, alleging Braxton did not mention her pre-existing health issue when she signed the document - invalidating the insurance.
Now they have filed a countersuit against Braxton, insisting she had kept her heart condition a secret.
They are refusing to pay compensation to the singer and are also claiming undisclosed damages from her, according to TMZ.com.

JOE FRANCIS faces losing his mansion after refusing to pay back an outstanding gambling debt, according to a U.S. report.
The Girls Gone Wild creator has been ordered to pay off a $2 million (£1.3 million) debt to Las Vegas mogul Sam Wynn’s casino resort, Wynn Las Vegas.
During a court deposition in February (09) Francis was accused of disrespecting the legal proceedings by passing wind while testifying and refusing to admit whether he had a cell phone.
And when he was asked if he could understand English during the proceedings, he read aloud the Fifth Amendment from the Bill of Rights - which allows him to refuse to testify - from a card handed to him by a lawyer.
Attorneys for the gambling firm argued the adult filmmaker had improperly used the Fifth Amendment and, as a result, District Judge Michelle Leavitt ruled in favour of the casino and ordered Francis to pay the $2 million (£1.3 million) debt.
With interest and legal fees, it has now grown to $2,942,272 (£1,961,515), according to TMZ.com.
Wynn’s lawyers are seeking to obtain Francis’ assets, which include his property in Bel Air, Los Angeles, if he doesn’t pay up.
Francis tells the website, "I was told this matter had been settled by my attorney and I’m currently looking into it."

Pictures of the actress’ naked scene leaked on to the internet earlier this month (Sep09) - and bosses at the Theatre Royal Haymarket in the West End are determined it won’t happen again.
They have warned staff to be vigilant during the play, and confiscate any mobile phones or cameras which are used.
A source tells Britain’s Metro newspaper, "Front of house staff have been put on alert to spot mobile phones because of Anna’s nudity. This is a serious production and they don’t want the naked scenes to be the only talking point."

ENTOURAGE star KEVIN DILLON fuelled reports he and actress wife JANE STUART have split after enjoying a night out with a string of beauties in Las Vegas.
America’s National Enquirer last month (Sep09) claimed the 44-year-old actor and Stuart had separated after more than three years of marriage.

RUPERT GRINT fans are determined to get his latest movie on the big screen - more than 10,000 have signed a petition to gain CHERRYBOMB a distributor.
The Harry Potter actor stars in the risque picture, which sees the 21 year old appear in a number of steamy bedroom sequences.
Despite heavy promotion after its premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February (09), producers still haven’t found backing from a studio.
Fans of Grint have set up The Cherrybomb Distribution Campaign to promote the film in a bid to convince movie bosses to snap up the picture.
A statement reads, "Many websites that publish features on Cherrybomb are saturated with comments from movie-goers who are eager to see the film. The trailer has captured the attention of both teenagers as well as adults.
"Critics are noticing that Rupert Grint completely shakes off his trademark Ron Weasley persona from the Harry Potter movies. Industry professionals are hailing the great performances by the leading actors, as well as the skillful and impressive direction of the film."

RANDY and EVI QUAID have dismissed an unpaid $10,000 (£6,660) hotel bill as a mere misunderstanding - insisting they intended to pay it at a later date.
The couple was taken into custody in Marfa, Texas last week (24Sep09) after a California judge issued an arrest warrant, citing the outstanding bill they racked up at the luxury San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara.
They were released after each posting $20,000 (£13,300) bail and are facing three felony charges of allegedly burglarising and defrauding the hotel owner.
Their lawyer claims they had intended to settle the bill after leaving the resort but it got lost in the post when they moved house, according to TMZ.com.
The bill has now reportedly been paid in full, but charges against the couple have not been dropped - they are due to appear in court on 19 October (09).

SCARLETT JOHANSSON was so obsessed with FRANK SINATRA as a child, she grew up wanting to sound just like the beloved crooner.
The actress, who has tasted minor success as a singer, admits she fell for Sinatra’s voice when she was a toddler and still swoons whenever she hears one of Ol’ Blue Eyes’ songs.
She explains, "When I was a little kid, my favourite singer was Frank Sinatra. I thought that maybe when I grew up I could sound like Frank Sinatra.
"He was a huge part of my childhood and my excitement about singing and music when I was a kidâ�¦I remember having this Fisher Price little tape player thing. It had a microphone attached to it… I used to pop in the Frank Sinatra cassette and I became absolutely obsessed with the Best of Frank Sinatra, and I would sing into the microphone with it." Picking her top tunes for a guest hosting stint on Los Angeles public radio network KCRW, Johansson also revealed Beach Boys star Brian Wilson once made her cry at a concert by performing In My Room: "I don’t think that I’ve ever cried that hard at a concert before. I find his whole story very touching and this song, really, the lyrics were very poignant.
"I think that a lot of people have that when they’re a teenager, where their room is really sort of their safe haven and they can hold all their secrets there. Certainly that was my experience, anyway, so this song really spoke to me when I was a teenager."
