KELLY ROWLAND is so furious at the poor sound quality during her performance at the U.K.’s Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards, she’s demanding an apology from organisers.
The former Destiny’s Child star sang her current single, When Love Takes Over, with David Guetta, at the show in Glasgow, Scotland on Wednesday (30Sep09).
Rowland appeared confused and momentarily stopped singing before continuing with the performance.
She later took to her Twitter.com blog to express how "livid" she is at the awards show bosses for making her "work harder".
She writes, "I wanted you guys to be the 1st to hear it from me! Rehearsals were fine. Soundcheck was fine. Performance was a struggle at 1st. What I will say is the Mobos owe me an apology! I was LIVID after the show! I got through it. It happens! The next show will be better. TRUST!" MOBO organisers have declined to comment.

Pop superstar MADONNA has vowed never to wed again, insisting she’d rather get "run over by a train".
The Material Girl has been married twice - her 1985 union to Oscar winner Sean Penn lasted four years, while her divorce from director Guy Ritchie was finalised in 2008 after eight years as husband and wife.

The singer is adamant she will never walk down the aisle again - but admits she does miss the advantages of joint parenthood.
She tells U.S. talk show host David Letterman, "I think I’d rather get run over by a train (than get married).
"But that said I do miss things about being married. Being a single parent means you’re in charge of everything. You can’t just say, ‘Hey, can you give the kids a bath?’ There’s no job sharing." Actress GWYNETH PALTROW is spearheading a new campaign to encourage more people to volunteer.
The Shakespeare In Love star and her mother Blythe Danner have filmed a public service announcement (PSA), sponsored by charitable organisation Entertainment Industry Foundation and United Healthcare, urging people to help out in their communities.
Paltrow says, "The biggest blessing in life is to realise your personal power. Community work brings families closer together.
"Doing good for others, doing positive action always comes back around and enriches your life. It’s the biggest gift you could give yourself. Please join us in volunteering."

British rocker PETE DOHERTY will stand trial at Christmas (09) on a charge of dangerous driving.
The Babyshambles frontman was arrested in Gloucester, south west England in June (09) as he drove a Mercedes-Benz after playing a gig in the city.
He subsequently pleaded guilty to charges of driving without insurance or a licence, and possessing class A drugs, but denied dangerous driving.
The former Libertines rocker appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday (01Oct09) and was ordered to stand trial on 21 December.
Judge William Hart told the star, who has battled addictions to heroin and crack cocaine, that the alleged offence was at the "bottom end of the scale" for dangerous driving.
He will be sentenced for the other offences after the trial.

IAN BROWN has recalled the lowest moment of his career - witnessing his STONE ROSES bandmate JOHN SQUIRE snorting cocaine at 11 in the morning.
The British singer admits he was shocked to see guitarist Squire indulging in hard drugs, because it’s not how the pair had originally envisaged fame.
He tells NME.com, "Walking into John’s room and seeing him with another delivery of cocaine in a big pile on his table. It’s 11 in the morning and he’s snorting lines of cocaine and I’m thinking, ‘S**t, is that what we are now? Do you have to take coke at 11 in the morning just so that you can come up with a guitar line?’ I thought we were against all that. I thought we were the real article. If he could have seen himself when he was 15, doing that, he’d have been horrified." And Brown insists he rarely took class A drugs, despite his reputation as a rock wildman.
He adds, "Because of my cheekbones people think I’m a crackhead… I’ve never even tried crack, I’ve never taken heroin. I didn’t start smoking weed until I was 22."

British singer JAMIE T has been forced to postpone six shows on his U.K. tour because he’s suffering from laryngitis.
The Sheila hitmaker was due to kick off the set of concerts in Bristol, England on Thursday (01Oct09), but has cancelled the scheduled slots after failing to recover following the end of his Australian dates.
A spokesperson for the singer says, "It is with regret that, after seeking medical advice, Jamie T is to cancel the first six shows of his upcoming Kings & Queens tour. After suffering from a bout of laryngitis on his recent Australian tour - which culminated in Jamie having to postpone the last two shows - his voice has not sufficiently recovered for him to begin the tour at the Bristol O2 Academy on October 1." The cancelled gigs are to be rescheduled, with all original tickets still valid. He is due to resume performing in Glasgow, Scotland on 9 October (09).

Singer ADAM LAMBERT’s support for U.S. schools has paid off - his fans have raised $229,000 (£153,000) for the cause.
The American Idol star teamed up with education charity DonorsChoose.org to support public school classrooms and raise some much needed cash.
His devotees backed him in his pledge, with one fan group alone netting $82,700 (£55,133) - and Lambert has filmed a video thanking them for their endeavours to support the charity.
He says, �I am unbelievably moved by the generosity and resolve of my fans, who have donated beyond what I could have ever expected to help students around the country.
"Although I was on tour during the length of the competition, I frequently checked in on the challenge progress and was so amazed to see the number of donors and total amount donated continue to rise and rise.�

Rapper GHOSTFACE KILLAH was forced to halt his set at a concert in New York on Wednesday night (30Sep09) when members of his entourage began brawling on stage.
The star was nearing the end of his free show at the Hiro Ballroom in Manhattan when trouble began brewing between various Wu-Tang Clan associates who were standing at the back of the platform.
The heated dispute soon turned physical, prompting Ghostface to stop the music and call for the men involved to continue their dispute backstage.
An embarrassed Ghostface then turned to the audience and said, "(It’s) your own f**king people who make you look f**king stupid", before ordering his bodyguards to "get them to take it backstage!" His Wu-Tang Clan bandmate U-God explained, "Some family s**t going down." Security escorted those involved off stage before Ghostface continued with his set, performing tracks like Do Over from his new album Ghostdini: The Wizard of Poetry in Emerald City, and his hit Ne-Yo collaboration Back Like That.
Before leaving the stage for the final time, the rapper apologised once more to his fans, saying, "Pardon me, those were my n**gers. They (sic) on some other s**t." The concert also saw fellow rappers Redman, Jadakiss and Kid Cudi hit the stage to perform with the hip-hop star.

Pint-sized star VERNE TROYER found it easy leading a horse and cart around the streets of London for new film THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS - because of his Amish childhood.
The actor plays Percy in the fantasy movie about a travelling theatre troupe, and took on leadership duties when it came to directing the animals during filming in the U.K. capital.
He says, "I kind of grew up in the Amish community - they had a horse and buggy, so I kind of knew how to take a wagon with a horse and lead them around."

Former FRIENDS star MATT LEBLANC is hoping to make TV audiences laugh again with a new comedy - three years after the actor’s spin-off series flopped.
LeBlanc will play himself in Episodes - a comedy about the television industry.
The show will follow a husband-and-wife producing team whose hit comedy on British TV is turned into a dumbed-down American sitcom starring the actor.
LeBlanc made Friends fans laugh as Joey Tribbiani for a decade, but failed to find success with his spin-off series Joey, which was cancelled in 2006 after two seasons.
Episodes will begin shooting in London and Hollywood this winter (09). The programme is set for a 2010 debut on America’s Showtime network and the U.K.’s BBC Two.

Bollywood actor SHINEY AHUJA has been released on bail in Mumbai, India after he was accused of raping a member of his staff.
The up-and-coming star, who has been in custody since June (09), denies charges of rape, wrongful confinement and criminal intimidation.
He has been ordered to stay away from Mumbai while he is on bail and must report to a police station once a week.
Ahuja’s wife says, "From day one we have said that Shiney is innocent." The 36-year-old actor has worked with a number of leading Bollywood directors and appeared in movies such as Gangster and Life in a Metro.

Late actress FARRAH FAWCETT’s son REDMOND O’NEAL has opened up about his ongoing drug treatment - insisting he is doing "very well" in his bid to kick his addictions since his mother’s death.
O’Neal moved from a California prison cell into a drug rehab facility last Thursday (24Sep09) to continue his battle against addiction.
The 24-year-old son of actor Ryan O’Neal had been serving time behind bars in connection to a January 2008 drug arrest and a probation violation. Last month (Sep09), he was placed on three years’ formal probation in Santa Clarita, California.
During a status hearing on Wednesday (30Sep09), O’Neal said that he is doing "very well" in a treatment programme at the Impact Drug and Alcohol Treatment Center in Pasadena, California - as he continues his year-long intensive treatment in a bid to kick his drug habit once and for all.
O’Neal’s next court date is set for 17 November (09).
Fawcett died on 25 June (09) after losing her long battle with cancer.

MACKENZIE PHILLIPS was raped as a teenager - several years before she embarked on an incestuous relationship with her father JOHN.
The former child star stunned fans and family by detailing in her new tell-all book High on Arrival how her father raped her the night before she married Jeff Sessler in 1979.
Now she reveals it wasn’t the first time she had been assaulted - a motorist sexually abused her at the age of 14 as she hitchhiked in Hollywood.
Speaking to U.S. chat show host Larry King, Phillips says, "I was 14… I was hanging out with some friends at a club on Sunset (Boulevard) called Rodney Bingenheimer’s English Disco. And I was allowed to hitchhike at that age… And we were hitchhiking home, my friends, Billy, Jody and I. And a gentleman. Someone I thought I knew. We thought we knew this man. We got in the car and he turned off of Sunset." The man ordered her friends out of the car before holding a knife to Phillips’ neck and speeding off.
She adds, "He took me up into the hills and raped me. And he told me he was going to kill me… I was let out of the car on the street above Sunset. He shoved me out of the car. I ran back down to the club. The police were there. Billy and Jody were there… Everyone was crying. And I was taken and done (sic) a rape kit on. I was clearly raped." The man repsonsible for the attack has never been traced.

KANYE WEST’s protege MR HUDSON feared he had broken his ankle after diving from the stage during a gig.
The British singer, who is tipped to take over the charts by West, was performing in Southampton, England, on Monday (28Sep09) when he jumped into the audience.
He tried to crowd surf, but he fell to the floor after he was swamped by the females in the audience, spraining his ankle.
A source tells Britain’s The Sun newspaper, "He was mobbed by so many women but they dropped him. He’s hobbling now."

SARAH JESSICA PARKER finds it hard to film scenes for the SEX AND THE CITY sequel - because paparazzi are constantly swarming the set.
The actress is currently in New York working on the second instalment of the hit movie, which is due to hit screens next year (10).

The actor is a keen musician, playing the acoustic guitar in the 2000 movie Chocolat and showing off his skills on a solo album.
And now Depp is using his talent to help Babybird, a band he has loved for years.
A band spokesperson says, "Grammy-nominated producers Bruce Witkin & Ryan Dorn, were introduced to (Babybird frontman Stephen) Jones by long-time Babybird fan Johnny Depp, who makes a cameo appearance on the new recording."
