MADONNA’S TRAINER SUED BY EX

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:03 pm

MADONNA former fitness guru has been targeted in a lawsuit - a former lover alleges the personal trainer conned him out of $1 million (£666,0000).
Tracy Anderson is being sued by ex-boyfriend Glynn Barber, who claims that during his 12-month relationship with the trainer he was persuaded to invest a fortune into her fitness empire.
He claims that after she failed to repay him, or offer a slice of her profits, he was forced to file for bankruptcy in 2007.
Barber has now hit out at his ex in the press, insisting she lied about her past - even pretending she was a Power Ranger and a Broadway star.
Barber tells New York gossip column Page Six, "She used her female charms to manipulate me to invest $1 million in her company.
"I was an easy target. She told me she was a Power Ranger. She told me she was in the musical Cats for four years. She said her ex-husband, Eric, played for the Knicks… None of this turned out to be true." And Barber adds that he also made Madonna’s fitness equipment, only for Anderson to sell it on for a profit: "I made Madonna’s fitness equipment for $13,000 and Tracy sold it to her for $26,000. She made a fortune from using Madonna’s name." Anderson denies all claims in court papers.
The fitness expert was recently dumped by Madonna after she reportedly refused to accompany the superstar on the second leg of her recent European tour, with insiders claiming the Holiday hitmaker was tired of her trainer personal "baggage".
