JONES ILL IN HOSPITAL
British actress MAGGIE JONES is critically ill in a hospital after rupturing her spleen in a fall.
The 75-year-old star, who stars in longrunning U.K. soap Coronation Street, is fighting for her life at the Hope Hospital in Manchester, England after suffering a tumble at her home on Sunday (11Oct09).
She was forced to undergo major surgery after she was admitted and is now said to be critically ill.
The star was severely injured after hurting her knee and shoulder in a fall in April last year (08).
