JACKSON’S THIS IS IT LEAKED ONLINE
MICHAEL JACKSON’s first posthumous release THIS IS IT has leaked online - a day before Sony Music bosses were set to debut the song on the star’s website.
Music executives were set to release the previously unheard track on MichaelJackson.com at the stroke of midnight on 12 October (09).
But fans were given a sneak preview in a 43-second snippet that made its way across the web a day early on Saturday (10Oct09).
The song, which features backing vocals from Jackson’s brothers, will appear on a new two-disc album of the same name, set to go on sale later this month (Oct09). Its release will coincide with the global premiere of Jackson’s This Is It documentary, about his ill-fated comeback concerts in London.
Jackson died on 25 June (09). His death has since been ruled a homicide.
