GATELY’S DEATH ‘NOT SUSPICIOUS’

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 8:45 am

Police investigating the sudden death of BOYZONE star STEPHEN GATELY have dismissed rumours of foul play - insisting there are "no signs of suspicious circumstancesâ surrounding the tragedy.
Gately’s body was found at the holiday home he co-owned with his partner Andrew Cowles on the Spanish island of Majorca on Saturday (10Oct09). The couple was reportedly enjoying a vacation there at the time of the tragedy.
Reports claim the 33-year-old singer may have died in his sleep following a night out.
Local police insist the exact cause of death remains unclear, but there are "no signs of suspicious circumstances," according to the Irish Times.
Local reports suggest foul play and suicide have been ruled out and there was no evidence of drug use at the apartment. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out on Tuesday (13Oct09) after the Spanish public holiday on Monday (12Oct09).
Gately’s Boyzone bandmates are expected to fly out to the island on Sunday (11Oct09).
