SKI RESORT WHERE RICHARDSON FELL SETS HELMET RULE

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:21 pm

The Canadian ski resort where NATASHA RICHARDSON fell and suffered a fatal head injury has set new helmet rules - six months after the actress’ tragic death.
The 45-year-old actress wife of Liam Neeson passed away in March (09) after she was removed from life support, following a skiing accident on the slopes of Mont Tremblant in Montreal.
Bosses at Vancouver-based company Intrawest, who run the resort, will recommend all skiers and snowboarders wear helmets when its ski season begins in few weeks.
Helmets will be mandatory for children and teens enrolled in ski and snowboard programs, and for students of all ages taking part in freestyle terrain programs.
The rules would not have applied to Richardson, who was not wearing headgear during a private ski lesson at the time of her fall.
