The animal lover regularly takes in strays and has a menagerie of sick pets.
The actor says, "I work with Farm Central that rescues animals. We sponsor their foster care. My girlfriend owns two pigs that she’s adopted and we have two cats with syphilis.
"Their lips are corroded but they’re adorable, running around the house. My sister comes over three times a day to give them their antibiotic injection because I don’t have the guts to do it."

FROST/NIXON star MICHAEL SHEEN hopes British soccer icon BRIAN CLOUGH’s family finally gets to see his portrayal of the sports star - because it’s not as controversial as they think it is.
The Welsh actor reveals the late Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Leeds United manager’s family refused to take a look at the script for The Damned United and turned down invites to see previews of the film.
Sheen can understand why they were dead set against the idea of seeing the movie, but he hopes they’ve since had the chance to check it out.
He tells WENN, "His family were against the film because they were very against the book that it was an adaptation of. The book is a very dark portrayal of Brian and we tried to celebrate him more in the film, but I understood why the family were very wary of the film.
"We offered to send them a copy of the script and they didn’t want to look at that and we offered them private screenings of the film, but they didn’t want that either. I hope they’ve seen the film since and realised we weren’t trying to make him look bad."

Cancer survivor SUZANNE SOMERS has blamed PATRICK SWAYZE’s death on his chemo treatment.
The former Three’s Company star announced in 2001 she had been diagnosed with breast cancer, and rejected chemotherapy in favour of a natural treatment called Iscador, a mistletoe extract.
Now Somers has spoken out about Dirty Dancing star Swayze, who died at 57 after losing his battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday (14Sep09).
The actress insists Swayze, who underwent regular bouts of chemo, could have extended his life if he had turned to alternative aids instead of drugs.
She tells U.S. columnist Shinan Govani, "They took this beautiful man and they basically put poison in him. Why couldn’t they have built him up nutritionally and gotten rid of the toxins in his body? I hate to be this controversial. I’m a singer-dancer-comedienne. But we have an epidemic going on, and I have to say it."

PENELOPE CRUZ and SALMA HAYEK were among the big winners at the American Latino Media Arts Awards on Thursday (17Sep09).
The Vicky Cristina Barcelona star picked up the award for best film actress at the ceremony, which celebrates the achievements of Hispanic artists in film, television and music.
Hayek was given the Anthony Quinn Award for Industry Excellence, while family drama Nothing Like the Holidays, starring Debra Messing and John Leguizamo, took home three honours.
Make-up artist Jeanne Van Phue and hairstylist Mary Ann Valdes were honoured for their work behind the scenes of vampire movie Twilight.
Other winners on the night included The Office’s Oscar Nunez, who was named best comedy actor, and Selena Gomez, who scooped best comedy actress for her part in the Disney Channel’s Wizards of Waverly Place.
The ceremony was held at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles, and was hosted by George Lopez and Eva Longoria Parker.

KELLY CLARKSON is desperate to silence critics accusing her of "ripping off" BEYONCE’s hit HALO - she is reworking the offending song on her live tour.
The Since U Been Gone hitmaker claimed songwriter/producer Ryan Tedder sent her the track that became Halo without telling her he’d already offered it to Beyonce.
Clarkson later came under fire after Sony Music bosses released her version, Already Gone, as a single - despite her desperate pleas to shelve it.
But the American Idol winner is making the best of the situation by altering the arrangement for fans who come to see her on her upcoming tour.
She tells MTV.com, "Unfortunately, it comes out where a lot of songs sound similar and, I don’t know, I want to sound a little authentic, so we changed it. It’s a little acoustic, and then it breaks out into this big, beautiful, diva-esque thing." The 27 year old has since set aside her differences with Tedder: "I have a lot of songs that I’ve done with Ryan, and they all sound very different. It’s just, unfortunately, in that situation, they sound exactly the same. But our melodies are different. Beyonce and my melodies are different (on the songs)."

JENNIFER GARNER played a series of pranks on RICKY GERVAIS on the set of THE INVENTION OF LYING - after he laid down strict rules during filming.
The upcoming movie was co-directed by Gervais and Matthew Robinson, but The Office creator Gervais placed a series of conditions on the cast - including a ban on gum-chewing, mobile phones, and loud snorting.
Robinson says, "Ricky had a few specific rules on-set… In the middle of taping, Jenâ��s cell phone went off, and she pretended it had happened accidentally. Ricky got really annoyed. All of a sudden, Jen started chewing gum and Rickyâ��s going, â��What are you doing?â�� And then she snorted. He didnâ��t catch on until the entire crew started laughing.â�� Garner wasnâ��t the only person to play pranks on Gervais - the entire crew blasted him with toy guns as he walked out of his dressing room for the final take.

NELLY FURTADO changed the sound of her latest album MI PLAN after her daughter complained the songs weren’t upbeat enough.
The Maneater hitmaker recorded her fourth disc in Spanish after experiencing writers’ block, but it was her child who played a big part in altering the sound further.
After Furtado played the finished track selection to five-year-old Nevis, she convinced her to go back into the studio to place a few faster songs on the album.
The singer says, "I played the album to my daughter and she said to me: ‘Mummy there are too many slow songs. You need more fast songs.’ So Mummy went back to the studio and put a couple more fast songs on the album. She’s like a little A&R (artists and repertoire) person and is pretty musical for her age."

SIR CLIFF RICHARD wants to set a new record by topping the U.K. charts in six consecutive decades - but insists he has already been cheated out of the honour.
The veteran singer is the only act - along with Elvis Presley - to register a number one in the British singles charts in every decade from the 1950s to the 1990s.
He’s now eyeing a number one in the 2000s as well - but feels he was robbed of achieving the feat in 2006 when download sales helped his chart rival Leona Lewis beat him to top spot.
He says, "It would be fantastic, it really would be good, but of course again they’ve moved the goal posts. I still feel that I had my number one in the 2000s because when I released 21st Century Christmas… it was the top selling CD in the country. I sold more CDs than 75 CDs below me, but I got pipped to the post by 7,000 downloads and I don’t get any downloads."

Movie mogul HARVEY WEINSTEIN’s first online venture has taken a hit - the website was cracked by hackers.
Authorities in France, with the assistance of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, arrested two French men on Wednesday (16Sep09) after they managed to break into Weinstein’s exclusive social networking site, aSmallWorld.
The computer experts allegedly demanded a $1 million (£667,000) bribe to keep them from divulging the names on the member database, reports the New York Post gossip column Page Six.
An inside source has declined to reveal the hackers’ identities, adding, "We continue to make security a priority and have reduced the risk of a future security breach." In May 2006, the moviemaker’s The Weinstein Company invested in the invite-only network, which boasts about 320,000 members.

DAVID CARUSO is breathing a sigh of relief after his ex-lover dropped her lawsuit against the CSI: MIAMI star.
Liza Marquez filed suit against the actor earlier this year (09), alleging he reneged on a deal to provide her with $1 million (£684,930) in financial support after their 2007 split.
The couple began a relationship in 2004 and had two kids after moving in together, but never married.
Marquez proceeded to sue for fraud, breach of settlement and emotional distress, claiming Caruso even threatened to "bury her" if she pursued him for the cash.
But last week (ends11Sep09) she filed new documents to request the dismissal of the lawsuit.
Legal papers obtained by TMZ.com do not indicate Marquez’s reason for dismissal, but show she "is not recovering anything of value" from the lawsuit.

"When I stopped I would look at a beer and think how great it would be. I’d get this pang in my stomach to go back out and have fun, but then I’d remember that I used up that right - that I did a full life worth of drinking between 14 and 27. That I’d done enough drinking for half a dozen people. Now I have no connection with it. I’m not afraid of it and I don’t celebrate it."

PATRICK SWAYZE’s cancer battle robbed the DIRTY DANCING star of a chance to become a big screen werewolf.
The actor, who lost his battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday (14Sep09), had been approached to star in First Howl as a movie executive suspected of murder, when he was diagnosed with the disease.
The film would have reteamed the star with C. Thomas Howell, who appeared alongside Swayze in his first big three films, The Outsiders, Red Dawn and Grandview U.S.A.
Clint Morris, who wrote the script for First Howl, reveals Swayze was the perfect choice for the role of Dennis Camrock - and he loved the part.
In a post on his MovieHole.net website, Morris writes, "I couldnâ��t think of anyone more perfect for the role - and as the film was written as somewhat of a love-letter to the 80s, and the product of the era, everyone was in unison… We all agreed itâ��d be perfect to have Swayze be a part of it.
"It looked good there for a while. We were talking costumes. We were talking drumming up his lines. But then… he got sick. And suddenly Patrick wasnâ��t taking on any more parts - not immediately anyway. We let it rest." The film is now in pre-production with Eric Stoltz and 1980s Brat Pack icon Judd Nelson reportedly starring alongside Howell.
