A performance by ADAM LEVINE and FAMILY GUY creator SETH MACFARLANE at a pre-Emmys party on Friday (18Sep09) was disrupted by two female fans who stormed the stage.
The Maroon 5 frontman and the comedy writer teamed up to sing Cole Porter’s I Get A Kick Out Of You at the Night Vision Entertainment’s bash in Los Angeles two days before the TV awards show on Sunday night (20Sep09).
But their rousing rendition was rudely interrupted by two ladies who got up on stage and attempted to dance with the pair, according to the New York Daily News.
Their mission was soon halted by security, who pulled them off the performance podium.
And that wasn’t MacFarlane’s only encounter with an overeager female devotee that night - he was drunkenly accosted for a photo by a fan.
A source tells the publication, "The girl kept slurring at Seth, begging him to take a picture with her. He just smiled, pointed at his friend’s father and said, ‘I’d rather take my picture with this guy.’"

An overeager OPRAH WINFREY fan was restrained by security at the Toronto International Film Festival as he attempted to crash a party the talk show queen was hosting.
The media mogul was holding a lavish bash at the Park Hyatt Toronto hotel last week (begs14Sep09) in honour of her new picture Precious, which scooped the People’s Choice award at the annual movie event in Canada on Saturday (19Sep09).
But security were alerted to a fan allegedly trying to gain access to the party, according to the New York Daily News.
The unidentified intruder was apprehended on the fifth floor of the hotel, before he could make it to the The Roof Lounge where Winfrey and guests - including Amanda Seyfried and Mena Suvari - were partying.

JENNIFER GARNER kept a secret on the set of THE INVENTION OF LYING - she was suffering morning sickness in the early stages of her second pregnancy.

JOHN LENNON’s widow YOKO ONO has spoken out in defence of BRITNEY SPEARS, insisting the pop star should be applauded for turning her life around.
The singer has revived her career with a hit album and successful world tour following her 2008 meltdown, which led to a stint in hospital for a psychiatric evaluation.
And 76-year-old Ono believes mother-of-two Spears deserves respect.
She says, "I think that the world was not fair to her, and they’re just using her and not dignifying her. I think she’s a survivor and she’s doing very well."

Actor-turned-California governor ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER has been invited to the London 2012 Olympics as a special guest.
The Terminator star has been asked to return to east London to see how the area has transformed since he lived and trained there as a bodybuilder in the 1960s.
Sir Robin Wales, the mayor of Newham, has written to the politician, requesting his presence at his former gym in the London borough.
Wales writes, "The reason why I would like you to be in our company is that the vast majority of the Games, some 60 per cent, will be held within Newham - much of it within walking distance of your former training ground in Forest Gate.
"You have been an inspiration to weightlifters and sportspeople since you started winning titles during the 1970s, and have capitalised on your appeal by moving onto acting, and now governing California.
Wales adds, "We hope he’ll be back to rekindle the bond."

MICHAEL JACKSON approached good friend MADONNA to write a song for him - but rejected a track the Material Girl penned because it was too "provocative".
The King Of Pop became friends with the singer in the early 1990s, and the pair often accompanied each other to events.
Jackson was keen to work professionally with his pal, but turned down a track she offered him because of its raunchy lyrics.
Madonna admits she was shocked by the rejection - because the Thriller hitmaker knew provocative songs were her signature sound.
She says, "We spent time together and became friends. It just never happened. I wrote words and presented them to him, but he didn’t want to go there.
"He didn’t want to be provocative. I said, ‘Well, why come to me?’ It’s like asking Quentin Tarantino to not put any violence in his films. I felt he was too shy."

Opera star KATHERINE JENKINS has spoken out about her brush with death in Iraq in 2005 - she feared for her life when the helicopter she was travelling in was hit by a missile.
The Welsh singer was visiting to perform for British troops fighting in the country, and was transported to Shaibah, a large U.K. military base in the south of the region.
Enemy forces struck the helicopter Jenkins was on, causing the chopper to plunge to the ground - and the 29 year old was petrified she would die in the crash.
She says, "Suddenly, there was this deafening noise and the helicopter just dropped out of the sky. Someone shouted that we’d been hit and there was this incredible sensation of falling. A ground-to-air missile had been fired at us. I could only think, ‘This is it - I’m done’. Everything just froze. I was petrified and panicking.
"All I remember was the falling sensation and everything outside seemed grey and you could almost feel the water and land coming at you. Suddenly, it stopped and I realised the pilot had somehow landed. We were pulled out and all I could think about was that I was alive."

A budding rapper who caused controversy with rhymes about death, murder, and mutilation has been charged with killing a church minister.
Syko Sam - real name Richard McCroskey III - was held by cops over the murder of Mark Niederbrock, a pastor at Walker’s Presbyterian Church in Farmville, Virginia.
The rapper, from Castro Valley, California has been charged with first-degree murder, robbery, and grand theft auto. He is reportedly being quizzed by cops over three other murders in Virginia last Friday (18Sep09).
McCroskey is due in court on Monday (21Sep09).

COURTNEY LOVE flew into a rage during a New York Fashion Week event - when a fellow reveller accidentally caught her on the toilet.
The former Hole singer was partying at The New York Times Style Magazine bash in the Big Apple on Wednesday (16Sep09) when she headed to the bathroom.
Love got a shock when guest Sebastian Karnaby opened the door and saw her with her skirt down - and she allegedly "went nuts" at the pharmacist.
He tells New York Post’s gossip column PageSix, â��I couldnâ��t find my way out and asked someone to show me the door… there was Courtney Love, sitting on the toilet with her skirt around her ankles.
�She stormed out screaming, �I am going to get you thrown out!� She jumped on me, went crazy and dragged me over to security by the arm and claimed that I�d attacked her.
�They were trying to calm her down, but she was out of control. She was like a possessed woman. I absolutely did not attack her - I was trying to get away. Thankfully, she�d remembered to pull up her skirt.
�I never wanted to see Courtney Love on the toilet. It wasn�t a pretty sight. I just wanted to get out of there.�

Metal band FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH are appealing to fans to help find their guitarist - he went missing after a show in Las Vegas on Friday (18Sep09).
Zoltan Bathory performed with the group in Sin City, and headed to a bar after the concert - but has not been seen since the drinking session.
His bandmates are so concerned for his safety they have contacted officials in Las Vegas in a bid to locate him.
A statement from the band reads, "We have not been able to locate Zoltan from Five Finger Death Punch since Friday night’s show in Las Vegas. He has not responded to calls, text messages, or emails, and he was last seen around 2:00 a.m. Friday night at Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Casino, taking tequila shots at the bar with a group of guys from a bachelor party who came to the show.
"If anybody has any information as to the whereabouts of Zoltan, please email ffdp@prospectpk.com immediately. This is not like him and the band needs to prepare for the upcoming tour. We have already notified the appropriate authorities, but any help Vegas fans might be able to provide is very much appreciated." The group’s next scheduled concert is in San Francisco on Tuesday (22Sep09).

Heavy rockers METALLICA have raised $200,000 (£133,333) to help their local community in California, by playing their first ever hometown concert.
The group played a sold-out show at the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium in San Rafael earlier this month (11Sep09), with fans paying up to $350 (£233) per ticket.
The money raised from the gig has gone towards the Marin Rocks Museum Project, an interactive museum of Marin music history which includes educational programs for young people in music and the arts, which is set to open next summer (10).
Drummer Lars Ulrich says, "We love Marin, and we don’t get chances to make an imprint in our backyard as much as we’d like. And this just seemed like a perfect opportunity to get involved in something that had Marin stamped all over it." Museum publicist Stephanie Clarke adds, "There has been nothing but positive reaction to everything about the concert. People are very excited."

JAY-Z was so ecstatic to headline Britain’s legendary Glastonbury music festival last year (08), he’s compared it to the joy of winning a Grammy award.
The hip-hop star caused controversy when he was picked to perform at the notorious event at Worthy Farm, with Oasis star Noel Gallagher blasting organisers for booking a rapper to play the traditionally rock ‘n’ roll festival.
The 99 Problems hitmaker thrilled fans with his headline set at the 2008 show, and opened the doors for other rap stars to perform at similar events, despite Gallagher’s remarks.
Jay-Z was pleased the public welcomed the change, which made him feel as though he’d been given the ultimate prize.
He says, "That was like winning the first Grammy for me. It was one of those times where, you know… almost like knocking the door down.
"Noel Gallagher, I think he perpetuated the old way of thinking. We don’t think like that, or listen to music like that (now). On my iPod is The Beatles, Jay-Z, Kings Of Leon, Lil Wayne, Grizzly Bear, Arctic Monkeys. I listen to a diverse arrangement of music, and I think that’s how kids listen to music now.
"It was almost like the people were saying, ‘No, we want that to happen. Thatâ��s the natural progression. We like rap, we like rock. We like everything.’ And it was just that last… that archaic thinking that was in the way of this festival. If we believe that a thing that started should be held forever I’d still be a slave, right? It’d still be in slavery. Things change and the world changes and I think it’s best to embrace change."

BEYONCE made a young cancer sufferer’s dream come true on Friday (18Sep09), bringing her onstage in Sydney, Australia and dedicating hit song HALO to the girl.
The Crazy In Love hitmaker was performing at the city’s Acer Arena when she brought the little girl, named only as Chelsea, onto the stage midway through her set.
Chelsea, who is suffering from leukaemia, beamed as Beyonce belted out the emotional Halo - and moved the 21,000 sell-out crowd to tears as she sang the lyrics "I pray you won’t fade away" repeatedly.
Wrapping up the song, the pair embraced in a loving hug, before Chelsea wiped away tears of happiness and left the stage.

Actor JOHN BARROWMAN has taken on the role of Robin Hood in a Christmas (09) pantomime - in a bid to save his local theatre from closure.
The star of cult sci-fi TV show Doctor Who and Torchwood has turned real-life hero in a bid to revive the fortunes of Cardiff’s New Theatre in Wales.
More than 35,000 tickets have been sold to fans eager to see Barrowman, who will star in the show twice-daily over the Christmas and New Year period.
A spokesperson for the theatre says, "John saves the world in Torchwood, now we hope he can save our theatre."

Actress ANNA FRIEL defied the ongoing economic slump by splashing out $12,000 (£8,000) during a single visit to a vintage goods fair.

KRISTIN CHENOWETH’s Emmy win on Sunday night (20Sep09) proved overwhelming for the star - the PUSHING DAISIES actress was treated by paramedics backstage for a crippling migraine.
