BUMP J. SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS IN PRISON
Rapper BUMP J. has been sentenced to ten years in prison after pleading guilty to a bank robbery in 2007.
The star, real name Terrence Boykin, was arrested in November (08) during a routine traffic stop in Illinois and was charged as one of two gunmen suspected of robbing a Chicago Chase Bank in January 2007.
Boykin received the minimum sentence on Tuesday (29Sep09), according to Chicago hip-hop blog Fake Shore Drive.
He will serve seven years for illegally holding a gun and 37 months for his part in the bank robbery, to be served consecutively - minus the time he has already spent in jail.
The bank robbery was caught on surveillance camera.
