LOVE FROZEN OUT OF DAUGHTER’S TRUST FUND

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 11:54 pm

COURTNEY LOVE has been temporarily banned from accessing her daughter’s trust fund, due to a dispute over who is eligible to access the account.
Teenager Francis Bean’s father Kurt Cobain left his daughter $1.2 million (£800,000) in a trust at America’s First Republic Bank after his death in 1994, and now bank officials have filed a suit in San Francisco Federal Court to prevent anybody withdrawing cash from the trust.
The bank claims Love and the Laird Norton Tyee Trustee Company - which is a wealth management consultancy - are both battling for access to the money, and they want court authorities to decide which party has rightful duties as a trustee.
The former Hole rocker’s lawyer, Keith Fink, has slammed the move, branding the bank "childish and vindictive", insisting that bosses only filed the claim after Love made it clear she wanted the money moved to a different bank, according to TMZ.com.
