HATCHER RAKES IN CHARITY CASH WITH GARAGE SALE
TERI HATCHER put a Hollywood spin on the humble garage sale - raising $20,000 (£13,300) by auctioning off a range of top prizes at her home.
The Desperate Housewives star held the sale in the garden of her property in Studio City, California to raise cash for children’s charities in Los Angeles.
Hatcher charged potential buyers $50 (£35) each on the door, before they could peruse the sale items - which included a pair of boots signed by co-star Eva Longoria Parker, purses and trips to Disney World.
The actress also put unworn clothes and unused toys up for sale.
She tells People.com, "It has been a very successful, fun day. You get motivated by the giving. I can’t wait for the next one!"
