ADVANCED JACKSON SCREENING SELLS OUT IN TWO HOURS
MICHAEL JACKSON’s fans snapped up the chance to catch an advance screening of the late King of Pop’s THIS IS IT tour documentary - all 3,000 tickets sold out in two hours.
The Thriller star’s followers were offered tickets to the Los Angeles showings, and thousands handed over the cash on Sunday (27Sep09).
The movie, which shows footage of the tragic star’s rehearsals for his doomed 50 London shows, is set to open on 28 October (09), with audiences in cities including Los Angeles, London, New York and Berlin, Germany able to see the film at the same time.
But a lucky 3,000 in L.A. will get to see the movie on the 27 October at the city’s Regal Cinemas Stadium 14. The film will run on all of the cinema’s 14 screens for that night only.
