LABELLE IN TAX BATTLE
PATTI LABELLE has been hit with a demand for hundreds of thousands in unpaid taxes.
Official records indicate the R&B singer owes more than $337,000 (£225,000) to the U.S. federal government.
A lien was filed against LaBelle by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the New York City Register’s office last month (Aug09), according to the Detroit News.
