COLE TURNED TO COMEDY FOR ST. TRINIAN’S
British actress/model LILY COLE embraced her turn in school comedy ST. TRINIAN’S - because it allowed her to poke fun at herself.
The 21 year old, who is currently studying at the U.K.’s prestigious Cambridge University, played geeky Polly in the 2007 movie.
But Cole refused to take her stint in the film too seriously - admitting she used her role to mirror her own studious lifestyle.
She says, "It was fun. There wasn’t really much pressure. I didn’t really take it very seriously. I wasn’t really committed to the character. I like the idea of being a model and playing a geek. I quite liked taking the p**s out of the fact I do study a lot. It was just a bit sardonic."
