Moviemaker KEVIN SMITH is planning to spend Labor Day (07Sep09) ‘tweeting’ fans.
The cult Clerks and Jersey Girl director admits he’s been training for a marathon Twitter.com session for weeks - and fans can ask him anything on Monday.
A statement from Smith, who boasts over one million Twitter.com followers, reads, "I wanna see if I can do it. I’ve been training for this my whole life, simply by being a lazy fat-a** who’d rather stare at a screen than better himself with a brisk constitutional (walk). Someone asked what my training regiment is gonna be, and I told them I’ve already stockpiled lots of Count Chocula (cereal)." The 24-hour ‘tweet-athon’ will help launch publicity for Smith’s upcoming book, Shootin’ the S**t With Kevin Smith, which hits stores on 22 September (09).
