New photographs of JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE and JESSICA BIEL walking hand-in-hand appear to pour scorn on reports they split last month (Aug09).
The pictures, taken outside a restaurant in northern California on Monday (28Sep09), appeared online on the same day two new magazine reports suggested the couple’s relationship was over.
Us Weekly claimed Timberlake ended his three-year relationship with the actress during a phone call back in August.
Star magazine went on to claim the singer is now pursuing an affair with Rihanna - following weeks of rumours linking the pair.
Representatives for the three stars have yet to respond to requests for a comment, but a source close to the couple has dismissed reports of a split.
The insider tells People.com, "They’re together. They’re not breaking up. Any time they spend time apart it’s because they’re working." Biel has been filming the new A-Team movie in Canada with Bradley Cooper, while Timberlake has been spending time in Los Angeles and New York.

The woman director ROMAN POLANSKI is accused of raping at JACK NICHOLSON’s Hollywood home in 1978 once testified she was terrified of the moviemaker.
Samantha Geimer was 13 when Polanski sexually assaulted her, and as the exiled Rosemary’s Baby director fights extradition to the U.S., where he’ll face sentencing after pleading guilty to having unlawful sex with a minor, a review of his victim’s deposition could become a big problem for the filmmaker.
Geimer has since forgiven Polanski, insisting the director doesn’t belong behind bars - but a new Los Angeles Times expose suggests she was frightened and upset when the crime took place 31 years ago.
In her deposition, Geimer repeatedly said she was afraid of the director. She also said she and the director got drunk and that she asked to go home.
She claimed Polanski joined her in the bathroom and told her to "go in the other room and lie down".
The director is currently behind bars in Zurich, Switzerland following his arrest on Saturday (26Sep09) on an international warrant.
Meanwhile, Polanski’s former sister-in-law, Deborah Tate, has defended the controversial director, insisting he is "a good guy" who had "consensual" intercourse with the teenager he’s accused of having unlawful sex with.

The paramedic accused of attempting to extort millions from JOHN TRAVOLTA threatened to sell false stories to the press suggesting the GREASE star was to blame for the death of his son JETT, a Bahamas court has heard.
Travolta returned to the stand in a Nassau courtroom on Wednesday (30Sep09) to testify against former Bahamian Senator Pleasant Bridgewater and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, who are charged with conspiracy to extort $25 million (£17.2 million) from the grieving family following Jett’s death in January (09).
The 16 year old suffered a fatal seizure while on a family vacation on the Caribbean island.
During direct examination, Travolta told the court how his friend and employee Ronald Zupancic had alerted him to the bribery plot over a medical document the actor had signed after requesting the paramedics drive the family to the airport. The actor initially believed it would be faster to fly Jett to a hospital in Florida, but subsequently changed his mind.
The Refusal of Treatment/Transportation form releases the medics from liability.
Travolta said, "(Zupancic) was upset. He said that there was a threat and a demand of money that Mr. McDermott, my attorney, had alerted him to with a release paper that I had signed in the Bahamas.
"I spoke to my attorney, and he needed to investigate the matter. I gave him permission to go to the authorities based on the information he gave me." When prosecutor Bernard Turner asked what would happen if the Travoltas snubbed Bridgewater and Lightbourne’s demand, Travolta replied, "If it were not met, then certain stories connected to that document would be sold to the press. They were stories that implied that the death of my son was intentional - that I was culpable in some way." The two defendants have pleaded not guilty. The trial continues.

Rapper-turned-music boss SNOOP DOGG is eyeing his first big-name signing - former OASIS guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER.
The hip-hop star was unveiled as the new creative chairman of EMI’s Priority Records in September (09), and he is looking to snap up a rock band for the label’s roster.
He has a number of acts in mind - and top of the list is Gallagher, following the Wonderwall hitmaker’s departure from Oasis in August (09).
Snoop tells music magazine NME, "Would I sign Noel Gallagher? Hell yeah. Would I collaborate with him? Yeah, definitely. Set it up… I love his style. I’m definitely trying to find a rock band right now."

KATE HUDSON is a set to become an aunt again - her actor brother’s wife is pregnant.
Oliver Hudson and Erinn Bartlett first became parents in 2007 when baby Wilder Brooks was born and Bartlett is pregnant again.
A source tells Life & Style magazine, "It’s early on in the pregnancy. Erinn is a few months along." Hudson and Bartlett wed in June 2006.

MARIAH CAREY has put her plans to become a mum on hold - because she and husband NICK CANNON can’t decide where to raise their kids.
The couple bought a home in Los Angeles earlier this year (09), amid reports Carey was already pregnant - but she has made it clear she’s not ready to make Hollywood her permanent base.
In an exclusive new interview with America’s In Touch magazine, the R&B star says, "Definitely, we want a family… but don’t think I’m moving to L.A." Cannon adds, "We live in both places (Los Angeles and New York). We need to figure out where we are going to raise our kids. Here (New York) or L.A." But the couple is in agreement about how many kids they want.
Cannon explains, "We’d like two." Carey adds, "Of course, we’d be happy with one. I want to be able to manage the right amount of attention. We are so busy - if you have six kids running around, no one gets what they need. Kids need a lot of attention." And Cannon isn’t ruling out adoption if their baby-making doesn’t go as scheduled: "It’s never out of the question. I was raised by my grandmother, who was also a foster mom, so I grew up around a lot of kids." Carey admits she hopes to be a mother by the end of next year (10), and has no qualms about gaining the baby weight: "I’d be fine with it. I’m not one of those people who is usually a size two to start with and gets scared they will end up a size three."

PEARL JAM have scored their first U.S. number one album in 13 years by ending JAY-Z’s run at the top of the charts.
The band’s ninth studio album, Backspacer, has debuted at number one on the Billboard chart with first week sales of 189,000.
Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3 slips to two with impressive third week sales of 134,000.
Three Days Grace’s Life Starts Now debuts at three and Whitney Houston and Miley Cyrus round out the new top five with I Look To You and The Time Of Our Lives, respectively.

Grammy Award winner GREG LADANYI has died in Cyprus after suffering an onstage head trauma last week (25Sep09).
The celebrated producer, 57, was on tour with singer Anna Vissi when an accident left him fighting for his life. He passed away on Tuesday (29Sep09).
He reportedly fractured his skull after falling 13 feet during Vissi’s performance at Nicosia’s GSP stadium. He also suffered multiple fractures to the ribs and chest.
Ladanyi shared a 1982 Grammy for engineering Toto’s Toto IV album and he also produced hit albums for Don Henley, Jackson Browne, Jeff Healey and Fleetwood Mac. He was nominated for 16 Grammys.
He also had his own record label, Maple Jam.

SEAN ‘DIDDY’ COMBS turned down a part in hit film THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA because he didn’t want to upset Vogue magazine editor ANNA WINTOUR.
The film subtly takes aim at the fashion queen and Diddy feared his involvement in the hit Meryl Streep movie would turn Wintour against him.
He says, "It wasn’t like they were portraying her in a bad way; it was just that I knew what was in the script and what she’s like in real life were different." And Combs admits Wintour has been nothing but gracious towards him and his Sean John fashion house.
He adds, "She’s bricked one or two of my collections, but she’s also called 15 minutes later with some helpful advice about who I should get to fix it."

MAD MEN star BRYAN BATT is reportedly set to exchange vows with his longtime partner in a same sex marriage later this year (09).

Hollywood producers are sinking their teeth into reality TV star LAUREN CONRAD’s bestselling book L.A. CANDY - screen rights have been purchased by the brains behind vampire franchise TWILIGHT.
The former Hills star released her debut novel in June (09) and has since topped the New York Times Best Seller list for Children’s Chapter Books.
The 23 year old admitted in July (09) she hoped to make a movie out of the hit semi-autobiographical novel - about a teen girl who moves to Los Angeles and lands her own reality TV show.
And now Conrad is celebrating a successful pitch to producers at Temple Hill Entertainment.
A company spokesperson says, "Lauren came to us with a structure of how to tell the story in an interesting fashion that was separate and apart from the book. We loved her take.
"Her book is an honest portrayal of what it must be like to set out to be normal, then sign on to become famous and eventually realise, ‘Wow, this isn’t at all what I’d planned for myself’."

Veteran actor DENNIS HOPPER has been admitted to a New York hospital, suffering from influenza-like symptoms.
The Easy Rider star, 73, was taken ill on Wednesday afternoon (30Sep09) with a stomach complaint, his representative has confirmed.
His full condition was unknown as WENN went to press.
As a result of his illness, Hopper has been forced to pull out of several appearances on U.S. TV talk shows.
The actor is in the Big Apple to promote his new TV series Crash, which is based on the Academy Award-winning 2004 movie of the same name.

JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE has ditched JESSICA BIEL so he can start a new romance with RIHANNA, according to sensational new tabloid reports.
The singer ended his three-year relationship with a heartbroken Biel a month ago during an emotional phone call, reports Us Weekly magazine.
It comes just months after the actress moved all her belongings into the star’s Hollywood home, as well as a new pad they purchased together in New York City.
A source tells the tabloid Timberlake grew tired of the actress’ insecurities and yearned to return to the dating scene.
The insider says, "He just said he needs time apart to just experience being single again. She refuses to accept it and called him non-stop trying to save it. She can’t imagine life without him." A separate report in Star magazine suggests the star severed his ties with Biel so he could pursue single songbird Rihanna, who he’s been increasingly linked with over the past few weeks.
Star’s sources claim the couple hooked up after the MTV Video Music Awards in New York on 13 September (09) - while Biel was shooting the new A-Team movie in Canada - and have stayed in contact since, arranging clandestine meetings.
An insider tells the tabloid, "They’ve been talking and texting non-stop since the VMAs. He’s pressing her to plan another hook-up.

A paramedic who treated JOHN TRAVOLTA’s son JETT following his fatal seizure is convinced the teenager died hours before an ambulance was called to the family’s Bahamas home, because the fight to resuscitate him was "over before it began".
The 16 year old was transported to a local hospital in two ambulances after the tragic 2 January (09) incident as the emergency medical technicians (EMTs) changed shifts halfway.
Marcus Garvey, who took over caring for Jett from one of the accused paramedics in the Travolta extortion case, claims the boy showed signs that he had been dead for some time when he was examined.
Garvey tells the National Enquirer, "After 17 years of experience as an EMT, I am sure the boy was dead long before he was found at his parents’ condo, and the fight to save him was over before it began.
"When we took over, I opened the boy’s eyes and shined a light to gauge pupil reaction. The pupils were fully dilated and fixed, indicating he was dead. His body was cold and rigor mortis had set in. Pooling of the blood in part of the body told me he had been dead seven or eight hours." Garvey puts the blame for the delayed emergency call on Jett’s two carers Eli Wheaton and Jeff Kathrein, who he alleges were desperate to cover up the scandal after spending the night partying: "We heard stories about the nannies partying at the beach the night before (Jett’s death), and the first ambulance man on the scene said he was told they didn’t hear the monitor that was supposed to alert them that Jett was up and going to the bathroom." And Garvey believes the autistic boy died at least seven hours before Travolta and Preston were woken up and told of Jett’s condition at 10am local time: "With all my training and experience, I believe Jett died around three or four in the morning. He must have been alone. We know he fell and hit his head.
"I don’t think for a moment John is part of it (the cover-up). But I think employees who were supposed to monitor Jett’s movements must have been desperate to try to show that he was still alive when he was found at 10am. Perhaps if the monitor had been heard in time, he could have been saved." Former Bahamian Senator Pleasant Bridgewater and paramedic Tarino Lightbourne, who tended to the boy immediately after the attack, are currently on trial in the Bahamas on charges of extortion.
They are accused of conspiring to release a document containing information about Jett’s death in a $25 million (£17.2 million) bribery plot against the Travoltas - claims they deny.

British rock icons IAN BROWN and JOHNNY MARR have formed a supergroup to record music for a new TV drama series.
The former Stone Roses frontman and Smiths guitarist are currently working on tracks for the shows, being written by a mutual friend, about the U.K.’s underclass.
And they have hinted they could be joined on bass by either Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield - Brown’s ex-Stone Roses bandmate - or Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder.
Brown tells the BBC, "The idea is that Johnny writes the music and I write the words and the melodies. We’ve got a mutual friend who’s writing a drama series. One of them’s about ticket touts (scalpers), another one’s about grafters - kids who sell t-shirts and things like that - and another one’s about pickpockets. We’re going to get together and do the soundtrack for these dramas. We’d have to bring a drummer or a bass player in."

JENNIFER HUDSON has tipped her newborn son to follow in her star footsteps - because he’s already showing good taste in music.

Rocker MELISSA ETHERIDGE is contemplating using her celebrity to form a high-powered lesbian coalition, made up of fellow famous gay rights activists.
The Come To My Window hitmaker, who came out publicly as a lesbian in 1993, admits actress Cynthia Nixon and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres are at the top of her list.
But Etheridge isn’t convinced the pair and other gay stars will want to team up.
She tells the New York Daily News, "That’s a noble goal and makes sense. Sometimes, the synchronicity happens and we do come together like that. It’s funny. Being a celebrity, you’re thought of as part of this club. But it’s just a perception that we all hang out."
