The former child star was only 25 when he suffered an accidental heroin overdose in January 2008.
In a haunting camera interview shot in October 2007, a mere three months before his death, Renfro pleads with aspiring actors to stay away from the hard-partying Hollywood scene - insisting the consequences could be fatal.
He says, "The advice I have for people wanting to get into acting… I would say, stay the hell away from the party scene. Anything you put in front of your goal, and especially something like that, whether it’s too much gambling, too much food, too much (sic) cold beers on the weekend - anything that you put in front of the prize is going to end up getting in the way and hurting you in the end. Unfortunately, a lot of people are not lucky enough to traverse through things like that and come out of things on the other side. A lot of people don’t make it. They don’t live through it."

EMILY BLUNT and JOHN KRASINSKI are set to wed.

Producers of ROBIN WILLIAMS’ latest movie are out to prove failed marriages aren’t final - as the actor prepares to divorce his real-life estranged bride MARSHA GARCES WILLIAMS.
The funnyman has signed on to star in Disney’s Wedding Banned, in which he plays one-half of a long-divorced couple.
The characters reunite after kidnapping their daughter to prevent her from making her own matrimonial mistake by marrying the wrong man, reports Daily Variety.

The reality TV star is the envy of pals who insist it must be "cool" to have the Black Sabbath singer as her father.
But Kelly insists Ozzy frequently shamed her with his crazy pranks when she was a child.
In her autobiography, Fierce, she writes, "One time, Dad dressed as a werewolf and locked my friends in the garden shed. The kids were crying and Mum had to call their parents to collect them. Later, me and Jack went to check on him. He’d passed out and our ex-nanny was crawling on the carpet saying, ‘Ozzy, I know you’ve always wanted me.’ Dad was oblivious. She passed out too, so me, Jack and Mum smeared dog food, flour, and baked beans on her. We were p***ing ourselves laughing.
"One time, Mum bought me thongs instead of big knickers. As I bent down, Dad bellowed: ‘You’re wearing a thong, Kelly? Thongs are for whores!’ I jumped out of my skin.
"He pinned me down and cut off my thong in front of my school friends. They were standing there, mouths wide open as this piece of material no bigger than a string of dental floss was yanked out of my jeans. I died of embarrassment and burst into tears. Mum was hunched over the sink laughing her head off, screeching: ‘Ozzy! No!’" The rocker was also banned from attending Kelly’s school parent evenings - because he’d always fall asleep speaking to her teachers.

A former contestant on HEIDI KLUM’s TV designer challenge PROJECT RUNWAY is laughing off her recent jail sentence for allegedly beating her ex-fiance - insisting her two days behind bars were "hilarious".
Finalist Kenley Collins was arrested on 17 March (09) and charged with two counts of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and harassment for throwing her cat and a laptop computer at Zak Penley at his apartment in Brooklyn, New York.
The 26 year old pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct and was jailed in April (09). She was also fined $120 (£80) and handed a two-year protection order prohibiting her from contacting her Penley.
But Collins insists life behind bars was enjoyable. She tells the New York Post, "Jail was really funny. I get thrown into this cell with like 25 girls, and half of them know who I am, so it is really hilarious."

Legendary Hollywood talent agent and Mercury Records co-founder BERLE ADAMS has died, aged 92.
Berle passed away on Tuesday (25Aug09) in Los Angeles following a long illness.
He founded the label in 1945 with partners Irving Green, Ray Greenberg and Art Talmadge - and recorded Frankie Laine’s 1947 tune That’s My Desire and Vic Damon’s I Have But One Heart.
In 1950 he began a 20-year career with MCA, where he represented Jack Benny, Rosemary Clooney, Alfred Hitchcock and Dinah Shore.
He was also responsible for packaging new TV programs and established the music company’s Uni Records, which signed The Who, Neil Diamond, Elton John and Olivia Newton-John.
In 1978, he served as executive producer of The Brass Target, starring Sophia Loren, John Cassavetes and Max von Sydow.
Berle is survived by a son, Richard, a daughter, Helen Kleinberg, four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

IAN BROWN has slammed bands who reunite purely to cash in on their past - insisting no amount of money will entice him to reform the STONE ROSES.
The singer, who is due to play a set at this weekend’s (29-30Aug09) Reading and Leeds music festivals in Britain, was rumoured to be getting back with his former Fools Gold bandmates earlier this year (09).
But he blasted the reports he was to rejoin Gary ‘Mani’ Mounfield, John Squire and Alan ‘Reni’ Renn for a series of concerts - insisting he is planning to work on his solo material.
Shortly after, Mounfield urged Brown and guitarist Squire, who also refuses to regroup, to consider the large sum they could net by touring again.
The bass player insisted his former group mates would change their minds - if they were offered enough money.
But Brown has ruled out a reunion, telling rock mag NME: "Maybe if you see me begging on the streets you might find me doing The Stone Roses the next day. We did it (formed a band) because we wanted to change the world, we didn’t do it because we wanted to be millionaires." And he insists he is not against all groups reforming: "I was glad when the Sex Pistols got back because they never really got paid."

LENNY KRAVITZ has added $3 million (£2 million) to the asking price of his New York penthouse - after giving the property a plush makeover.
The rocker has repeatedly dropped the value of his Manhattan apartment to attract a buyer but has failed to sell the home.
After taking it off the market three times and lowering the price from $19.5 million (£13 million) to $12 million (£8 million), agents have now put the seven-bedroom penthouse back on sale for $15 million (£10 million) - after workmen refurbished the walls and updated the decor.
The 6,000 square foot home boasts seven bathrooms and is on the top floor of an exclusive block in the SoHo district.

MILEY CYRUS woke up sleepy fans who waited for more than 36 hours in rainy weather to see her perform a free concert in New York City on Friday morning (28Aug09).

LEIGHTON MEESTER, PENN BADGLEY and HILARY DUFF are causing more controversy on the set of hit U.S. TV drama GOSSIP GIRL - New York residents have complained their neighbourhood has been taken over by crazed fans.
Duff is currently filming episodes as a guest star on the series, in which she plays a famous actress who enrols at university with Vanessa, played by Jessica Szohr.

A source tells the New York Daily News, "Residents were complaining that they couldn’t even walk on the sidewalks because cables were lying all over the place. Duff sparked controversy on the set this week (begs24Aug09) amid rumours she had infuriated the show’s cast after refusing to leave her trailer, causing a massive delay in shooting. THE HILLS star BRODY JENNER has accused GIRLS GONE WILD boss JOE FRANCIS of "punching and kicking" his Playboy model girlfriend JAYDE NICOLE after a violent altercation at a Hollywood nightclub on Friday morning (28Aug09).
The couple was celebrating Jenner’s 26th birthday at hotspot Guys & Dolls when Nicole threw a drink at Francis, who she claims was "unrelentingly" hitting on a friend, Jenner tells TMZ.com.
According to a post on Jenner’s Twitter.com blog, Francis then "pulled (Nicole) to the ground, punched and kicked her".
Club security guards broke up the fight before police were called to the scene.
Jenner claims he then followed Francis out of the venue and punched him in the face - but was struck with a Taser gun.
Nicole alleges she has a bruised cheek and ribs, a swollen face, and a sore stomach, and now plans to press charges against Francis.
Los Angeles Sheriff LaJuana Haselrig tells Usmagazine.com, "A report was taken. It’s still under investigation. There were no arrests."

GIRLS GONE WILD creator JOE FRANCIS is set to use JACK NICHOLSON, JENNIFER ANISTON and ORLANDO BLOOM in his upcoming court case - in a bid to prove his home was a hangout for celebrities.
The sex films boss is facing a trial in October (09) over allegations of tax evasion, centred on claims he filtered profits through offshore companies and deducted millions in expenses.
But Francis is fighting the case - and will bring a touch of celebrity glamour to the trial by insisting his home in Mexico was an investment property leased to famous clients, according to MSNBC’s The Scoop.
Francis will tell the court stars including Nicholson, Aniston, and Vince Vaughn have leased the property in the past - so it qualifies for tax deductions.
If found guilty, the movie boss faces up to ten years in jail.

MERYL STREEP has already been tipped to pick up the Best Actress Academy Award in 2010 - because Oscars bosses are unimpressed with other female roles in recent movies.
The Oscars chiefs are allegedly concerned over the lack of stunning performances by actresses this year, and are said to be struggling to find a decent list of nominees.
It means Streep, who received a Best Actress nomination at the 2009 ceremony for Doubt, is favourite to pick up her third Academy Award next February (10).
An Oscars insider tells Britain’s Daily Express, "It’s only just dawning that there’s a distinct lack of potentials in the Best Actress category. Not that there have been terrible performances, far from it, it’s just that there have been very few good leading roles for women.
"It’s been a pretty lacklustre year for movies in general but it seems that no one wrote any decent lead roles for women. There are many to choose from when it comes to supporting actresses but very few in the lead. It looks like Meryl Streep may do it again as she has played the lead to acclaim in two films out this year." Other names suggested for nomination reportedly include Hilary Swank for Amelia, Emily Blunt’s portrayal in The Young Victoria, and Penelope Cruz for Broken Embraces.

The Osbourne matriarch is well known for her love of cosmetic procedures and regularly receives Botox treatments.
Now her daughter Kelly has revealed she hates her mum’s habit - and admits she’s had enough of watching her going under the knife.
In her autobiography, Fierce, Kelly insists her mother receives so much treatment, Sir Elton John once took her to a doctor to correct a bungled lip job.
She writes, "Mum’s addicted to plastic surgery. I always hate it when she gets work done. She says: ‘I’m just going in for a routine op’. There’s nothing routine about getting your t*ts done! "We’d say: ‘Mum, you’ve had Botox again.’ She’d reply: ‘No I didn’t.’ ‘Yes you did - your head is f**king bleeding,’ we’d say in unison. Once she had her lips plumped. We were sitting round Elton John’s dining room table and he said: ‘Sharon, what the f**k has happened to your lips?’ We all burst out laughing. He sent her to a doctor to get her fixed.
"I’m forever turning to mum and saying, ‘What’s wrong? MADONNA was determined to speak out about the plight of Romany gypsies after her backing musicians told her of the scandal in eastern Europe.
The Material Girl was performing in Bucharest, Romania on Wednesday (26Aug09) when she urged the 60,000-strong crowd to fight prejudice against travellers.
She told fans the "discrimination" suffered by the gypsies makes her feel "very sad".
The comments sparked a mixed reaction, with large sections of the audience jeering - but the pop superstar was later praised by Hindu and Jewish leaders for highlighting the issue.
Now Madonna has revealed her reasons for the remarks - several members of her stage band told her about the controversy.
