LINDSAY LOHAN has prompted rumours she’s patched up her rift with her dad MICHAEL, after the pair was spotted on a California shopping spree.
Dad and daughter have enjoyed a rocky relationship since Michael split from Lohan’s mother Dina and his subsequent spell in jail after crashing his car while drunk.
Michael then vocally disapproved of his daughter’s lesbian relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson, suggesting the Brit was a bad influence on Lohan.
But a sighting of the pair shopping for jewellery together suggests they’ve made peace.
Lohan Sr jetted to his daughter’s side last weekend (23-24Aug09) after her home was burgled, vowing to help catch the culprits.

Reality TV star KIM KARDASHIAN has an unlikely coach preparing her for the launch of her first perfume - she’s signed a deal with 50 CENT’s fragrance company.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star will compete with with an endless line of celebrities from Britney Spears to Pamela Anderson when her new scent hits shelves next spring (10).
However, Kardashian insists her as yet unnamed fragrance will be unlike other A-list endorsements, after inking a deal with the rapper’s company, Lighthouse Beauty - which will also market and distribute a line of 50 Cent-inspired colognes later this year (09).

Actress KIRSTEN DUNST is drinking again after a year-and-a-half-long battle to stay sober, according to a U.S. report.
The Spider-Man star was thought to be alcohol-free since a spell in rehab last year (Feb08) - but a sighting of Dunst drinking in a Los Angeles bar on 18 August (09) have sparked fears for her health, reports the National Enquirer.
A source tells the tabloid, "She told (a companion) to order her a double vodka on the rocks… (he) held her by the arm to keep her stable. Even though she was wasted, she looked like she was trying to hide her drink in her jacket as she walked toward a couch. But minutes after she sat down, Kirsten gulped her drink." A spokesperson for the 27-year-old actress had not responded to requests for comment as WENN went to press.

Lawyers representing MICHAEL JACKSON’s doctor have requested a copy of his autopsy results, just hours after a coroner ruled the superstar’s death was a homicide.
Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office announced on Friday (28Aug09) that Jackson was killed by the cocktail of drugs administered to him in the hours before his death. The primary cause of death was listed as "acute Propofol intoxication", referring to the strong anaesthetic Jackson used to help him sleep.
The homicide ruling will intensify the investigation into the star’s personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray, who was with the Thriller legend on the day he died.
According to the Associated Press, Murray’s lawyer Ed Chernoff has swiftly requested more information about the autopsy results - which have not been released in full. He tells the AP he needs to know the exact levels of drugs in Jackson’s system.
Chernoff also criticised authorities for not releasing autopsy and toxicology results, describing the move as "gamemanship".
The lawyer added that Murray was not surprised by Friday’s findings, claiming they are in line with what he told police.

Veteran crooner MICHAEL BOLTON found an unlikely writing partner to help him with his new album - pop sensation LADY GAGA.
Bolton had no idea who the Poker Face hitmaker was when she approached him to offer her services, shortly before her career exploded.
He explains, "I was taking a break from production when my manager and the label tag-teamed me on the phone about writing with a young artist named Lady Gaga who I had never heard of - but they were raving about - they said that she was a huge fan of mine and wanted to write with me." The pair gelled and Bolton’s convinced great things beckon for Gaga: "When I met her in the studio later that night, I realised she was not only about to have a big hit record but Gaga was a superstar about to launch - her energy was so high and her focus excited me. She reminded me of a young Madonna - with more exuberance and emphasis on the art rather than the marketing." Their collaborations will feature on One World One Love, which hits stores next month (Sep09).

CHRIS BROWN’s post-sentencing celebration this week has landed a Los Angeles nightclub in trouble - because he was partying underage.
The R&B star shocked fans on Tuesday (25Aug09) when he was snapped dancing in Hollywood club Guys & Dolls, just hours after he was handed a five year probation order, six months hard community labour and ordered to stay away from Rihanna, who he was convicted of assaulting.
A spokesperson confirmed on Friday (28Aug09) Brown’s actions breached his probation, because the 20 year old was in an over-21 venue.
And now the hotspot’s bosses are facing an investigation from Alcohol Beverage Contol, because they allowed an underage reveller in.
The ABC confirms to TMZ they are "looking into reports that are surfacing regarding an underage individual in Guys and Dolls".
If proven, the club’s owners could lose their liquor license.

ADAM ‘DJ AM’ GOLDSTEIN’s famous friends have taken to the internet to register their shock and grief, following reports of his death.
Police found the star’s body at his New York apartment on Friday (28Aug09) evening after he had suffered a reported drug overdose.
Just minutes after the news broke, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, Ashton Kutcher, Lindsay Lohan signed into their Twitter.com accounts and responded to the news.
Lohan wrote, "I can’t believe this.. i’m in shock. why? why? r.i.p. adam." Diddy added, "DJ AM rest in peace." Kelly Osbourne wrote, "I just cant believe that adam (dj.am) is gone i dont want to believe it im in shock. he was one of the most genuine people i have ever met!" Shanna Moakler, whose ex-husband Travis Barker survived a fatal plane crash with Goldstein last year (08), was among the first to Tweet, writing, "My deepest condolences for DJ AM, you were a great artist and will be severely missed. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends."

NOEL GALLAGHER has sensationally quit OASIS after a dramatic pre-concert fight with his bandmate brother LIAM.
The Wonderwall rockers had a massive bust-up backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris, France, on Friday (28Aug09) just minutes before they were due to perform.
It’s claimed singer Liam smashed one of Noel’s guitars, sending his brother into a fury. After a confrontation, a raging Noel stormed out and announced he has quit the band.
Noel says he is both sad and relieved to be walking away from Oasis after 18 years.
In a statement on the band’s official website, he wrote: "It’s with some sadness and great relief to tell you that I quit Oasis tonight.
"People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.
"Apologies to all the people who bought tickets for the shows in Paris, Konstanz and Milan." Disappointed fans at Rock en Seine were told about the cancellation on giant screens with a message explaining that "an altercation within the band" was to blame.
Singer Amy McDonald also posted an account of the brothers’ tussle on her Twitter.com page: "Cancelled again with one minute to stage time!!! Liam smashed Noel’s guitar, huuuge fight!" The split comes just days after Oasis axed a headline slot at the U.K.’s V Festival on Sunday (23Aug09), blaming Liam’s throat infection. The band was nearing the end of its current world tour, which has been riddled with reports of battles between the brothers.
Earlier this week (begs24Aug09) they were forced to release a statement denying split rumours. It read, "Oasis will complete the rest of the world tour in Europe and then take some well-earned time off before they begin to think about the next album and tour." Oasis formed in Manchester, England in 1991, and were the biggest band of the U.K.’s Britpop movement in the 1990s. They sold more than 50 million records worldwide and had eight Number One singles in the British charts.

ADAM ‘DJ AM’ GOLDSTEIN has been found dead in his New York apartment, after suffering a reported drug overdose.
Police broke into his home on Lafayette Street in Lower Manhattan at 5.20pm on Friday evening (28Aug09) after they were alerted by a concerned friend who had been unable to reach him for several days, reports TMZ.com.
The New York Post is reporting that drug paraphernalia was found in the apartment.
Goldstein’s death, at the age of 36, comes nearly a year after he and Travis Barker were involved in a plane crash in South Carolina that killed four people. He suffered severe burns when the Learjet burst into flames after overshooting the runway.
The star, who famously dated Nicole Richie and Mandy Moore, had battled drug addiction in the past and revealed earlier this year he had attempted suicide while high on crack cocaine when he was aged 24.

Classic horror B movie THE BLOB is heading back to the big screen - thanks to rocker-turned-film maker ROB ZOMBIE.
Zombie is writing, directing and producing a $30 million (£20 million) remake of the 1958 film, about an alien jelly that lands in a small town and consumes its human inhabitants.
The filmmaker reveals he plans to take the classic story in a different direction.
Zombie tells Variety.com, "My intention is not to have a big red blobby thing - that’s the first thing I want to change. That gigantic Jello-looking thing might have been scary to audiences in the 1950s, but people would laugh now. I’d been looking to break out of the horror genre, and this really is a science fiction movie about a thing from outer space. I intend to make it scary, and the great thing is I have the freedom once again to take it in any crazy direction I want to."

Union bosses at the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) have warned members not to take part in the documentary about MICHAEL JACKSON’s doomed THIS IS IT tour.
Sony Pictures have purchased rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage from concert promoters AEG Live, filmed at Los Angeles’ Staples Center, as Jackson prepared for his residency at London’s o2 Arena.
Sony has planned a two-week run for the film beginning 28 October (09); however, SAG bosses have announced that the film’s producers have not agreed to the minimum basic terms and conditions for performers and background actors employed on the project.
A statement from the union reads: "Guild members are reminded of their obligation not to accept employment on any non-signatory project, as well as their obligation to confirm with the guild that a project is signatory. Employment on any non-signatory project within the guild’s jurisdiction may subject a member to a Rule One violation." The union did not have jurisdiction over rehearsals and behind-the-scenes footage during filming, which it expects to be a feature release.
Jackson was set to take the stage in July (09), just weeks after he died from cardiac arrest on 25 June (09).

CHRISTINA AGUILERA has paid an emotional tribute to her husband JORDAN BRATMAN in a tearful TV interview - crediting their union with helping her overcome her abusive past.
The singer and her music marketing executive husband will be married four years in November (09) and share 19-month-old son Max.
Aguilera insists it’s Bratman’s loving influence that’s helped her conquer her fears after growing up with an abusive father - and she has vowed to stop the cycle of abuse since starting their own family.
In a tearful TV interview, she tells E! Online, "I grew up not having any real male perspective or role model and Jordan just continuously makes me fall deeper and deeper in love with him everyday. He just exudes such love and is such a great father to Max that it just makes me the happiest woman alive. SHARON OSBOURNE refuses to tolerate anyone referring to her children as fat - and once threatened to cut off a teenager’s manhood when he dumped daughter KELLY.
The rock matriarch’s daughter was humiliated as a schoolgirl when a boyfriend broke off their fledgling relationship because of her weight.
Both Kelly and her brother Jack also faced criticism of their looks when they rose to fame on reality TV show The Osbournes - but mum Sharon refused let bullies get the better of them.
In her autobiography, Fierce, Kelly writes, "I started dating a guy when I was 14 but he dumped me in front of everyone, saying I was fat. Next day, Mum turned up at school, marched over to him and said: ‘If you don’t stop saying nasty lies about my daughter, I’m going to chop your d**k off and shove it down your throat.’ No guy at school said horrible things after that.
"When a reviewer of The Osbournes TV show made reference to me and Jack being fat, Mum got someone to s**t in a box and sent it to him with a note saying: ‘I’ve heard you’ve got an eating disorder? Eat this.’" And Kelly has taken after her mum by carrying out similar crazy antics: "The scary thing is, I’ve started to be like her. I was in a club in London and I gave a guy a lift home. I popped into his house because I had to pee, but when I walked in he pushed himself on me. I pushed him off, hid in a bedroom and waited until he passed out. Then I pulled my knickers down and peed on his carpet. You can thank Mum for that crazy behaviour."

British dance stars BASEMENT JAXX have been dropped by their record label XL.
The duo, which has worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Missy Elliott, has ended its 10-year relationship with the Beggars Banquet imprint, after reaching the end of a five-album deal - and XL haven’t offered the pair a new contract.
But Felix Buxton - one half of the band - insists Basement Jaxx will continue to record and tour, without a label.
He says, "XL haven’t offered us a new deal, but I didn’t imagine they would. You don’t need a record company now - they aren’t so relevant. All you need is someone to distribute your music. Besides, you only make money through touring now".

Rocker SLASH is dedicating his latest guitar creation to his "man and mentor" LES PAUL.
The former Guns n’ Roses star was devastated when guitar icon Paul died this month (Aug09), at the age of 94.
He was among the first to pay tribute, revealing the pair had bonded over their love of the instrument.
Just weeks on, Slash has sat down with technicians at guitar giants Gibson to put the finishing touches to his latest Gibson Les Paul Slash model - which he is releasing to honour his late pal.
Slash reveals on his Twitter.com page, "The new Les Paul is going to be tight, the best Slash model yet, without a doubt. We’re going to call the new Les Paul Slash Model the Appetite guitar. It is modeled after the guitar I recorded that album (Guns n’ Roses’ Appetite for Destruction) with.
"It will be my tribute to Les Paul the man & mentor."

TRANSFORMERS director MICHAEL BAY has lined up his next sci-fi franchise - based on a collection of novels written by controversial author JAMES FREY.
Bay’s production company has picked up the rights to I Am Number Four, the first in a series of six books about nine aliens who escape to earth before their planet is destroyed.
The movie, which has potential to turn into a multi-part series, follows one particular alien who takes the form of a high school student.
Frey, who co-wrote the tales with Jobie Hughes, found fame and controversy back in 2006 when his best-selling ‘memoir’ A Million Little Pieces was accused of being fabricated.
Oprah Winfrey promoted the book - supposedly a tale of Frey’s battle with drug addiction - on her TV show, helping it become a huge hit, only to criticise the author on air when it was exposed as a fraud.

STEPHEN DORFF credits his late mother with his career resurgence, insisting her energy is helping him win movie roles.
Nancy Dorff lost her battle with brain cancer last February (08), leaving the 36 year old devastated.
After nursing her in her final months, Dorff admits he found it tough returning to Hollywood - but now he’s back and insists he can feel his mother’s spirit urging him on.
And he’s convinced she helped him land his big new movie role, in Sofia Coppola film Somewhere.
In a chat with pal Owen Wilson for the new issue of Interview magazine, Dorff says, "It’s been an intense year for my family. I lost my mom last year, but I feel like she’s really been with me and with us, guiding us. I’d never really lost anybody before in my immediate family. Your mom is the person you don’t ever want to lose, but in losing her, I had all these great things that started happening. I think she was part of me getting the whole Sofia (Coppola) movie.
"She was the ultimate mom. It kills me that she’s gone, but at the same time, I think she’s given me strength. I think my mom will be up there, hopefully smiling."

Trailers for a new movie featuring Italian prime minister SILVIO BERLUSCONI have been banned from the country’s state-run television network.
Bosses at RAI rejected an ad for Videocracy, featuring scantily-clad women and statistics claiming Italy has a low press freedom rating, insisting it is "offensive" to the leader’s reputation.
Ads for the film have also been blocked from channels privately owned by tycoon-politician Berlusconi’s company Mediaset.
Between them Mediaset and RAI’s three state television channels constitute 90 per cent of the country’s terrestrial television output.
RAI executives allege the trailer alluded to recent media stories accusing Berlusconi of infidelity - but director Erik Gandini claims his movie is about Italian culture, and features Berlusconi among a host of other key figures.
He tells the BBC, "It is a film about the present time. It is a film that talks about how Italy has become after all these years. Of course, Berlusconi is in the story.
"In a videocracy, the key to power is the image. In Italy, one man only has kept the domination of the image over three entire decades." Videocracy is due to premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September (09).
