After she split amicably from boyfriend Hefner, the blonde beauty left his home and has since started living with boyfriend, director Nick Carpenter.
And though she loves having her own pad, she admits she has grown difficult to live with.
The reality TV star tells Eonline.com, "Going through all these (moving) boxes has been a little bit stressful. I told Nick that he has to help me get rid of things, but every time he tells me to throw something away, I get all p**sed at him." "Nick made me give away my Hello Kitty TV, my Hello Kitty microwave and my Hello Kitty toaster… and I have Playboy pillows, sheets, towels, barware." Marquardt admits she has already donated bags of clothes and stuff to charity.
She and her boyfriend have just bought a $1.7 million (GBP1.1 million) home in Sherman Oaks, California.

QUENTIN TARANTINO is to receive the 2009 Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film at a pre-event for the 2010 Santa Barbara International Film Festival in California.
Douglas has agreed to present the honour to the Inglourious Basterds director at a gala dinner on 22 October (09).
Festival executive director Roger Durling says, "We are beyond excited to be able to honour a man who has turned filmmaking on its ear. He has forever changed the direction of American cinema." The 25th Santa Barbara International Film Festival will run from 4-14 February, 2010.

Former beauty queen-turned-reality TV star SHANNA MOAKLER has fired off a furious missive on her MySpace.com blog aimed at former husband TRAVIS BARKER after he went public with his concerns the couple’s kids were hanging out with a child molester.
The Blink-182 drummer clashed with police officers outside Moakler’s Rhode Island home on Monday (24Aug09), in what was believed to be a fight over a nanny for the former couple’s two children.
He has since attempted to explain his actions on his Twitter.com blog, claiming he exploded with rage when he discovered his ex-wife’s uncle - a man he calls a child molester - was at her house at the same time as their kids.
But now Moakler is giving her side of the story, insisting she’s tired of having to defend herself online - but fears she has no alternative when Barker goes public with personal issues.
She writes, "I am VERY aware that one day my children will grow up and read what is on the internet. THAT is why I have tried every avenue to stop the abusive and false accusations which only hurts them in the long run." Moakler uses the blog missive to state she has "ZERO tolerance for pedophiles," adding, "If you touch a child, in my eyes, you should be sterilized. You’re rights taken away." She adds, "I think it is not only ABSURD to suggest I would ever allow my child remotely near such a thing. This accusation is false and cruel and publicly damaging." And she takes aim at Barker’s online posts, raging, "I think running to social networks to slander others only draws negative attention, begins falsehoods for both parties. I have cooperated with my ex in every measure he has asked. I allowed my children to go on tour for 4 weeks with their father, I make visitation as easy as possible, I am even willing to take a tour bus home to ease his tensions with the children flying, a 3 days drive." She concludes her well thought out post by stating, "I am a AMAZING mother, who loves and will protect her children fiercely! Any other notion would be simply ridiculous!" Barker and Moakler briefly reconciled last year (08) when the rocker was involved in a plane crash and had to undergo months of medical care to treat extensive burns all over his body. They split again earlier this year (09), and have been embroiled in a messy war of words ever since.

Best-selling crime author DOMINICK DUNNE has lost his battle with bladder cancer, aged 83.
The revered writer and Vanity Fair magazine contributor died on Wednesday (26Aug09) at his home in Manhattan, according to his son, actor Griffin Dunne.
Dunne, the author of An Inconvenient Woman and The Two Mrs. Grenvilles, was born in Connecticut in 1925 and began his career as a TV and film producer.
He served in the Army during World War II and was awarded the Bronze Star for heroism.
He shot to fame in the mid-1990s thanks to his insightful coverage of the O.J. Simpson trial. He wrapped up his coverage of the disgraced former American football icon in court last year (08) when he insisted on covering the kidnap and robbery trial - which ended with Simpson’s incarceration - against doctors’ orders.
Dunne had travelled to Germany and the Dominican Republic for experimental stem cell treatments to fight his cancer in recent years and once revealed that he and the late Farrah Fawcett were in the same cancer clinic in Bavaria.
He completed his final novel, Too Much Money, before his death. It is scheduled for release in December (09).
Dunne was penning his memoirs when he died.
Vanity Fair editor, Graydon Carter - a longtime friend, says, "It is fair to say that the halls of Vanity Fair will be lonelier without him and that, indeed, we will not see his like anytime soon, if ever again." As a Vanity Fair writer, Dunne became famous for covering high-profile court cases and was a beloved raconteur and high-society interviewer and confidante.
Dunne’s life was marred by tragedy - his actress daughter, Dominique, was murdered by her boyfriend in 1982.

Hollywood’s top addiction specialist DR. DREW PINSKY has blasted MICHAEL JACKSON’s embattled physician for not seeking help for his superstar client’s spiralling drug problem.
In an affidavit, obtained by the Los Angeles Times earlier this week (beg24Aug09), Dr. Conrad Murray reportedly told police he was trying to wean the King of Pop off powerful anaesthetic Propofol, which Jackson was using in large doses in an effort to get to sleep.
Legal and medical experts have questioned Dr. Murray’s decision to make the drug available to Jackson - because it’s usually strictly administered only in sterile environments, like hospitals, by trained anaesthesiologists.
And now Dr. Pinsky, the man behind reality TV show Celebrity Rehab, has publicly criticised Jackson’s physician for not alerting experts to the singer’s drug dependency issues.
Pinsky says, "You can’t wean people off medication, it really doesn’t work. The fact is, if he identified addiction in Michael Jackson he should have brought in an addiction team… Dr. Murray was unfortunately over his head with this one.
"I would bring that person into a hospital, 24-hour monitoring… and cold turkey."

The slain gay rights activist SEAN PENN played in MILK is set for a major California honour - he’s among the 13 heroes and celebrities who will be inducted into the state’s Hall of Fame.
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver put forward Harvey Milk as a 2009 hall candidate on Tuesday (25Aug09).
Ironically, Schwarzenegger was criticised last year (08) after he vetoed legislation to proclaim Milk’s 22 May birthday an official date of significance.
Milk was among the first openly gay men elected to public office in the state. The former San Francisco supervisor was assassinated by a rival in 1978.
Schwarzenegger has also selected his bodybuilding mentor Joe Weider, actress Carol Burnett and beloved former U.S. TV sports pundit John Madden for the state’s Hall of Fame honour.

LINDSAY LOHAN is convinced she knows the thieves who raided her Hollywood home - because they targetted objects of sentimental value to her.
The actress was left distraught when burglars broke into her home over the weekend (23Aug09), and made off with designer gear, cash and jewellery.
Speaking after the break-in, Lohan’s dad Michael told WENN he believed the culprits were "evil-doers" close to the starlet, and vowed to bring them to justice.
And now the actress has spoken out, revealing the raiders knew what they were looking for.
In a post on her Twitter.com blog, she writes, "My life has been kind of in shambles considering my house was broken into and I feel really violated.
"I know it was not a ROBBERY. Electronics weren’t taken… just things that a certain old friend knew meant a lot to me." The police are meanwhile investigating a link between the burglary and a similar raid on The Hills star Audrina Patridge’s Hollywood home back in February (09) - after CCTV footage, obtained by TMZ.com, appeared to show similarities between the manner of the break-ins and the physical appearance of the one man and two women believed to be responsible.
A police source tells the website Lohan was shown a CCTV still of the man entering her house, and she confirmed he "looked familiar".

KELLY OSBOURNE has been told to get healthy for her debut on U.S. TV show DANCING WITH THE STARS - because producers fear she looks too pale.
The singer and reality TV star admits she has been urged to tan before she tangos with dance partner Louis van Amstel on the season opener, which is set for 21 September (09).
Osbourne tells Us Weekly magazine, "They told me I have to get a spray tan because I’m the palest girl ever." And Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter has also had to make sure that rocker fiance Luke Worrall is OK with his girl dirty dancing with other guys.
She adds, "I had to tell Luke that all the other dancers are gay, otherwise he’s going to be pretty unhappy about me dancing sexy dances with them."

MADONNA will be hooked on the upcoming season of U.S. reality show DANCING WITH THE STARS after learning her pal DEBI MAZAR will be among the contestants.
The actress admits Madonna was one of the first people who called her when it was announced she’d be among the 16 celebrities dancing up a storm on TV from next month (21Sep09), when the new show launches.
Mazar, who was best friends with Madonna before the singer hit the big time and has appeared in a string of Material Girl videos, will partner with hunky Russian Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and her famous pal is thrilled.
Mazar, tells Eonline.com, "She’s really excited for me. She was on her way to Budapest and she just said, ‘Oh, my God! How great! And you are dancing with Russians - how lucky are you?" Pop superstar and fitness fanatic MADONNA is preparing for a gruelling ultra marathon - dubbed the toughest race on earth, according to U.S. reports.
The 51-year-old singer, who keeps in shape with regular yoga sessions and daily trips to the gym, has reportedly cleared her schedule next April (10) so she can jet to Morocco for the Marathon des Sables.
The epic trek is 156 miles long, takes six days to complete, and is the equivalent of six marathons.
A source tells America’s Star magazine, "She’s always been in great shape, but she is now taking things to a whole other level."

PETE WENTZ has poked fun at his FALL OUT BOY bandmate PATRICK STUMP, after the singer was arrested for a traffic violation.
Stump was taken into custody on Tuesday night (25Aug09) in Beverly Hills, California for an outstanding traffic warrant, and held on a $15,000 (£9,375) bond.
The controversy shocked fans, who are more used to Wentz’s headline-grabbing antics than those of shy frontman Stump.

A battle is brewing between one-name stars CHER and ROSEANNE over comments the comedienne made about the singer/actress’ sex-change daughter.
Chastity Bono, who now goes by the name Chaz, is in the process of becoming male at the age of 40 and Cher isn’t laughing about quips funnygirl Roseanne has been making at her offspring’s expense.
In a fun-poking ditty on her website, Roseanne takes aim at Chaz, singing: "One’s in sequins, the others in jeans/One hangs with dykes (derogatory term for lesbians), the other with queens." A spokesman for Cher says, "That’s so not funny."

ELLIE GREENWICH, the woman behind some of music mogul PHIL SPECTOR’s biggest hits has died from a heart attack, aged 68.
The legendary songwriter penned the Ronettes’ Be My Baby and Baby, I Love You, the Shangri-La’s Leader of the Pack and River Deep, Mountain High for Ike & Tina Turner among other huge hits.
Discovered by composers Leiber and Stoller, Greenwich was inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame in 1991.
Broadway show Leader of the Pack, which she co-wrote, is based on her life.
As well as writing hits, she can be heard backing up stars like Frank Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Dusty Springfield and Neil Diamond on record.
As well as composing hits for Spector’s fabled Wall of Sound, Greenwich also wrote Manfred Mann’s Doo Wah Diddy Diddy and festive favourite Christmas (Baby Please Come Home), which was recorded by Darlene Love.
She also released one album, Ellie Greenwich Composes, Produces and Sings, in 1968.

MARY-LOUISE PARKER is laughing off an embarrassing photo scandal - after accidentally flashing her bare backside during a stroll through New York.
The Weeds star suffered a wardrobe malfunction during a recent trip to the Big Apple and failed to notice her dress had ridden up, flashing her behind to passers by, including a cunning photographer, who captured the flash on film.
Parker was confronted with the saucy snap during an appearance on David Letterman’s Late Show on Tuesday (25Aug09).

FARRAH FAWCETT and RYAN O’NEAL’s troubled son REDMOND O’NEAL finally has something to smile about as he serves time behind bars for drug offences - he’s landed his own TV show.
Redmond will turn his struggles with drug addiction into a new reality show, and has signed a new deal, brokered for him by his dad, according to In Touch magazine.
A source tells the publication, "Ryan will be on the show, too." The untitled series is scheduled to start shooting in December (09), when the 24 year old is released from a California detention centre, where he is undergoing intense treatment to kick his drug habit.
The insider adds, "Redmond wants to do this to honour his mother. He really wants to get better to honour her memory.
"Redmond will be followed by a trainer and a bodyguard who will try to help him get a job and have a real life." Fawcett lost her battle with cancer in June (09).

QUENTIN TARANTINO found a home away from home while shooting new movie INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS in Berlin, Germany - the city has a bar dedicated to the director and his films.
The filmmaker decided to visit Tarantinos after locals told him the nightspot is filled with memorabilia from his movies and his films are played on a loop - and he admits it was an odd experience.
Tarantino explains, "We showed up, and the owner saw me through the window, stepping out of the car.
"He was really cool. He just stood in the middle of the room, and when I stepped through the door, he held out his hand and said, ‘Welcome to your bar.’"

Movie producer GRAHAM KING’s wife is furious at reports the Hollywood hotshot is dating actress MEG RYAN.
Rumours circulated earlier this year (09) after the pair - who share producer credits on 2006 movie Desert Saints - were spotted together.
Sources told Us Weekly the pair had jetted to New York for a "lovers getaway".
The reports enraged Valerie King, the Oscar-winning producer’s wife of 25 years, and mother of his two children.
Valerie tells the National Enquirer, "Graham’s not dating Meg Ryan. He’s with me." She admits the couple separated for a short while, but insists Brit King was never involved with Ryan, and that husband and wife are happily back together, adding, "He lives at our house. We’re together. We’re a happy family. We’re not getting a divorce."
