GUESS JEANS BOSS LOSES LIBEL SUIT
Guess Jeans co-founder GEORGES MARCIANO has lost a libel suit against an accountant.
Gary Iskowitz and a business partner claimed Marciano falsely accused them of blackmail and theft.
Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Elizabeth White, who banned the defendant from her court for failing to co-operate with pre-trial proceedings, ordered Marciano to hand over $55 million (£36.6 million).
