LOHAN IN TROUBLE OVER MISSING JEWELS?
A top Beverly Hills jeweller is threatening LINDSAY LOHAN with legal action if she doesn’t return $2 million (£1.3 million) worth of gems he loaned her for an event.
The actress, whose Hollywood Hills home was burgled at the weekend (22-23Aug09), has been targeted by the bosses of XIV Karats, who want their jewels back.
Lohan has reportedly told the jewellers the gems were stolen from her safe.
A source tells CocoPerez.com, "The jewels were in Lindsay’s care… If something is not resolved soon there will be legal action taken." It’s the second missing jewellery scandal Lohan has been caught up in this summer (09) - in June (09) she was linked to gems stolen from a photo shoot for Elle magazine in Britain.
But magazine bosses and London police were quick to dismiss reports the actress was responsible for the theft, insisting the Mean Girls star was merely helping the authorities with their enquiries.
