ROSE TATTOO SCRAP U.S. TOUR

Posted in: Entertainment — PR-inside Entertainment News @ 2:03 am

Aussie rockers ROSE TATTOO have scrapped an upcoming U.S. tour to allow guitarist ROBIN RILEY to recover from surgery.
Riley will go under the knife for an undisclosed health issue in October (09), but bandmate Angry Anderson has dismissed reports the guitarist has been diagnosed with cancer.
This follows a posting on the website for Los Angeles venue Knitting Factory, where Rose Tattoo were booked to play later this year (09), which stated the rocker is battling the disease.
Anderson says, "Rockin’ Rob is doing fine, but needs surgery this October." Rose Tattoo have been hit hard by cancer in recent years - guitarist Pete Wells passed away in March 2006 after a long battle with prostate cancer and founder Mick Cocks was diagnosed with liver cancer and secondary tumors in the lungs earlier this year (09), according to Blabbermouth.net.
