GELDOF ‘STARTED RUMOUR’ ABOUT STING’S TANTRIC SEX SESSIONS
STING’s love of marathon tantric sex sessions was a myth created by his rock pal BOB GELDOF.
The Police star and and his wife Trudie Styler’s spiritual love-making has become something of a music legend over the years.
They are said to spend up to eight hours engaging in the practise, but the couple’s daughter Coco insists the tantric claims were just a rumour Geldof started as a practical joke.
Coco tells the New York Daily News, "Bob Geldof made up this thing and it stuck - and it’s an international joke. It’s embarrassing when people bring it up." The singer himself confirms Geldof is responsible for his reputation as a tantric love god: "We were chatting and talking about having hours of sex. It then became really a joke which went around the world like a forest fire."
